Re: VRamSizeTest v1.0

If you have a link to a trustworthy article or video about unnecessary windows services, it would be great to post it. :)

btw, could you explain in simple words what reservememorysizemb does. I have read some things about it but I can't understand.

Re: VRamSizeTest v1.0

Boris, do you think that adjusting the visual effects in windows for best performance and disabling some services could help while gaming? BTW I unistalled avast, ran the tool again but got the same number.

Re: VRamSizeTest v1.0

I could post a screenshot of my processes. There 6GB of system RAM. I'm open to suggestions for an anti-virus alternative. I used the test version you attached and got the same number, 3808.

Re: VRamSizeTest v1.0

So, for win7 at 1920*1080p the reduction should around 70-80mb. Considering that Steam, Avast Free Antivirus and some other small processes are running is an 80mb reduction enough?

Also, should DisableDriverMemoryManager be set to true when using an AMD card? I have a 4890 1GB.

Re: VRamSizeTest v1.0

Boris, should we set the number in the enblocal as indicated by the tool or decrease it by a small amount?
