Yes limit is for everyone no matter if GPU has more or less than 4 GB VRAM.. Users have to use the DX version the game was developed with.. so if theres an "evil plan" from driver developer to force newer DX this would affect game developer first place... but this is an absurd idea, DX9 st...

Win7 do have problems with 4 gb limit. I thought Win7 doesn't have the problem? Everyone with Windows 7 in here reports more than 4064 MB with DX9... Everyone with Windows 8 or 10 reports 4064 MB... both NVIDIA and AMD user .. or did I oversee some posts? You think both AMD and NVIDIA driver change...

Are you using a preset published on Nexus? Which one?
