Re: Definitive solution to the so-called "transparent hands" bug?
I don't blame you for not remembering, but it's in your patch notes. Something that kept rearing its ugly head, and possibly never solved for good. > v0.173: Fixed transparency bug for hair and some other objects (visible when ssao, shadows or depth of field enabled). > v0.190: Fixed first person ob...

Definitive solution to the so-called "transparent hands" bug?
This is regarding Fallout New Vegas. Here was my understanding: Versions later than 0.173 sacrificed the option to use MSAA in order to outright kill the "transparent hands" bug. The hands / held weapons weren't actually "transparent" so much as the background SSAO and detailed s...

Hotkey to disable a single effect?
I'm aware that this could hypothetically be done in Skyrim. But I'm needing to do it in New Vegas. There's a hotkey to disable all effects, but I want to disable/enable only certain ones. Right now I've got things set up so that ENB outright turns off whenever I'm using nightvision (since it doesn't...

Re: ENB experts: What causes this lightsource bloom effect?
I figured out the lightsource blooming is being enabled by some custom tonemapping. I've already transplanted it and gotten some results. The lingering issue is that low-res squaring artifact, which seems to only become a problem when the tonemapping enhances light. (It's always there, but almost un...

ENB experts: What causes this lightsource bloom effect?
It's not ENB's default bloom setting in any respect. It's not any of ENB's primary settings. It's some kind of secondary effect. And because it seems to be something done by default with the ENB presets that use it, no control is given over how it works. It's just always there. (This is for ENB for ...

Re: Solution for the red glowing skin problem?
Simply set higher intensity of lighting but colorcorrection brightness lower. Yep, doing this does indeed solve the environment map issue. The problem is that it compromises almost everything else. Just as a quick example, lamps on the wall have their brightness outright flattened. Things like that...

Re: Solution for the red glowing skin problem?
ENBSeries do not magnify anything Well, like I later said, it seems more like the red glow (and environment maps, and emissive effects) are being rendered at max brightness and ignoring the actual local brightness. That said, the image of the sleeping woman evidences a brighter red with ENB on than...

Re: Solution for the red glowing skin problem?
Alright, too bad. It does look something like the poor man's SSS attempt in Skyrim so I'm kind of surprised that there's no _sk texture for it like in Skyrim or some other way to control its intensity. There are _sk files but they don't seem to do anything at all. Removing them from the mesh or rep...

Re: Solution for the red glowing skin problem?
I do not apply anything which could generate that red thing and i did test now disabling all the code, except increasing intensities, it's vanilla game do, maybe fake sss attempt. Yes, I suspect it's the vanilla game doing something. That's fair. Here for example is a screenshot of the same spot I ...

Re: Solution for the red glowing skin problem?
As nobody answer, i can just tell that don't know any reason why mod can do this, so are you sure it happen only with enbseries installed? Yes, absolutely. I thought this was pretty common knowledge. As I noted before, whenever Skyrim users bring it up (here https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comm...
