Interesting. Totally unexpected by Steam overlay. Never had that problem with oblivion, skyrim or gta.

This happens when the d3d9.dll is in place. HDR is "on" according to the launcher, but I don't trust it because I have to set resolution manually in the ini. Where is the ini option for HDR?

Skyrim ForceFakeVideoCard issue
in skyrim, i was having a flashing problem... outside, under shadows, when facing certain directions it would flash between dark and light in a radius around the player. This goes away when I set forcefakevideocard=true. The problem is that setting seems to force a preset of some sort... world color...

I forgot that mod organizer virtualizes a lot of things, and I hadn't fixed the skyrimprefs.ini that it uses. Once i set "iMultiSample=0", now it works, including the SSAO problem I had. for managing the > 40 mods I use (of all kinds) it would be impossible to play the game not using mod o...

you've misunderstood.
i don't mean that it's not in the text file, i mean that using it has no effect on enb appearance. as in it doesn't seem to be part of enb anymore.
So my question was if the setting was going to be reimplemented by next full release.

USE_DOUBLE_BLUR
USE_DOUBLE_BLUR parameter doesn't exist in 1.20 enbeffectprepass.fx (along with some other DOF settings). i had been setting it to false for a pretty vast increase in framerate, like +60-70%. I added USE_DOUBLE_BLUR=FALSE; near the top but no effect.
Will the finer DOF settings be returning?
