Re: TES Skyrim 0.319
Does anyone know about these flashes? I cropped some screens: With ENB on: https://image.ibb.co/btQ2jb/flashENB.png Same scene with ENB off, you can see white dots where the flashes were: https://image.ibb.co/i5keVG/flash_Vanilla.png I have skylighting FixErrors=True but I don't know if that is for ...

Re: TES Skyrim 0.319
I know about the CPU bottleneck problems due to too many objects, that is easy to check because the GPU usage will be low and disabling ENB won't improve the frame rate much, like in the major cities with lots of NPC mods. I was only talking about areas that are not CPU-bottlenecked but still couldn...

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.324
Are you trying to block the game program from connecting to the internet or trying to block Steam from updating the game program? If you are trying to block Steam from updating the game, that is very difficult, it's possible but very annoying. In the past, Steam allowed disabling updates for specifi...

Re: TES Skyrim 0.319
Is it possible to implement some sort of dynamic resolution option? Normally, I don't care about dynamic resolution (the type that changes in real-time which is annoying and looks weird) but in Skyrim there is a use for it because most people get completely different performance levels in interior v...

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.320
SkyrimSE and Fallout 4 are "officially complete" games, the main Bethesda dev team have already moved on to new projects. But they still want to make money using these games, so they will continue to release Creation Club content made by modders, to try to make these games into a service. ...

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.320
Yeah that's part of ENB's detailed shadows and shadow fixes features... Vanilla Skyrim (and SSE) has a lot of missing shadows, the detailed shadows feature is the #1 reason I use ENB, and the main reason I won't switch to SSE. Characters look soooo much better with proper self shadows from their hai...

Re: TES Skyrim 0.319
Is there any way to disable the ENB shadow for just the first person hands? When you use the mod "Enhanced Camera" it adds the player's full body model even when in first person view and so the player's body now casts a real shadow. (The mod uses a hybrid system where there's a player body...

Re: VRamSizeTest v1.0
Interesting article about the new GPU monitoring features coming to Windows 10 on October 17th (along with the Windows 10 DX9 4GB VRAM limit fix): https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/directx/2017/07/21/gpus-in-the-task-manager/ Task manager will now show exactly how much dedicated and shared video memo...

Re: TES Skyrim 0.315
I've never had any HDD die either, nor had any SSD die. Over my life I've probably owned over 100 HDDs in different devices and standalone, and over 20 SSDs, none of them died. You are right about temperatures and review methods, most of my important HDDs in deskops run at temperatures of 25 to 35 d...

Re: TES Skyrim 0.315
I know how SSDs can die, and I own over 20 SSDs. HDDs die far more often than SSDs. Only Samsung regular EVO models use 3 bits per cell, Samsung PRO model SSDs use 2 bits per cell and have a 10 year warranty, and other manufacturer's all have 2 bit per cell models too (yes all SSDs are overpriced, b...
