Ok, I tracked down the actual source of the problem...it was the Natural and Atmospheric Commonwealth mod that was causing the problem. Luckily, I don't need it...*Poof* it's gone! Sorry for troubling you with this...I forgot that I downloaded NAC for use with the first ENB preset that I installed.

Update to my previous post: The effects that I described earlier are present in both 'Subtle' ENB, and 'Decent' ENB...so it must be the ENBseries itself that is responsible for them.
