Question about "Sky Banding"

By sky banding I mean the LDR artifact of seeing horizonal bands as you pan from ground level up to top of the sky gradient. I understand that banding of the sky can be minimized by tweaking the top, middle and horizon intensity and curve values, but is there a "directional algorithm" whic...

Re: [DX9 and DX11] Reforged Bloom

I haven't posted here since 2012. Recently reinstalled SLE to see how I could make it look with new hardware.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.109 BETA

As this thread will be dead soon with the upcoming 110, i'm going to go ahead and feed our little troll. Cataxu, whom I will further refer to as kid: Look kid, you're like that little brat driving his dad's late-model BMW through the McDonald's drive-thru, the lady at the pick-up window mistakenly ...

Re: Skyrim Patch 1.5.26 Official Release Grass Problem

ive seen some discussion on nexus forums of how bethesda is very aware of shader related shadow problems and is actively working that for the next patch, but i cant determine if said shader issues are related to both the "big blotchy shadow issue" (which i dont have) and the "laughabl...

Re: TES Skyrim

afaik, you need to run 102 if you are partial to HD6 enbeffect.fx parameters, or at least the one that includes brightness adjustment. personally, using 108 would require a whole new learning curve on parameter optimization and i cant handle that emotionally. lol.

Re: Weird graphical glitches with Skyrim (v1.5, 0.108 TrueHD

This is game bug, after last two patches it even add more bugs with my patch, developers are freaks . All you can try is to install new videodrivers or get another videocard (nvidia better) and then to use vanilla game or version 0.108. Boris, I'm pretty sure you are my favorite person on the plane...

Re: [HELP] Very dark mountain clouds

UPDATE: I no longer think this is a bug. At least on my system, it was operator error, lol. Previously I had these parameters... Fog Intensity Night: 1.0 Fog Intensity Curve: 1.0 Volumetric Fog Intensity Night: 0.8 Volumentric Fog Curve Night: 1.2 Both the v fog parameters, when changed, reduce the ...

Re: [HELP] Very dark mountain clouds

Try version 0.103, i don't remember what fixed in it, but something with fog and clouds i sure (also sure that some of bugs of such where not fixed, i was busy with bugthesda patch problems). Yes, thanks. I may do that. Or I may just take the Bugthesda / M$oft approach and just say its not a bug, i...
