Re: Fallout 4
Very nice update to the FO4 ENB! Also, for any modders, this works on any material that has screen space reflections enabled. I wonder if future updates to reflections might be able to distinguish between water materials versus non-water materials. https://i.imgur.com/mptLTAc.jpg https://i.imgur.com...

Re: [poll] TES Skyrim NEXTGEN
Honest answer: no, I won't be playing Skryim years from now.
On the other hand, Skyrim's engine might be similar to Fallout 4 when it releases. Bethesda is notorious for making only marginal improvements to their technology. Skryim was probably their biggest leap since Morrowind.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.151
Boris, the new image based lighting feature looks great. Is it computed using the game's sky color? On a side note, would it be possible to add more parameters for fog? Maybe something like a density offset?
Re: Fallout 3
Thanks Boris for all your hard work! Really enjoying the new binary :D Can't wait to see how far you can draw those shadows. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8240/8467721338_b2e7b7c38c_b.jpg Screenshot197481 http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8243/8467721512_fc4f46a986_b.jpg Screenshot11964 http://farm9.sta...

Re: What preset is this picture from ?
You can restore exterior point light shadows by turning off deferred shadows in skyrimprefs, but that will cost you skylighting. Seeing as there aren't many shadow-casters outdoors, it's probably not a worthwhile trade-off.

Re: TES Skyrim
Wow, haven't been here in a while but the screens are looking mighty impressive :D Here's a shot taken with my .122 settings (edit: +SweetFX for SMAA and contrast) http://i.imgur.com/gD6WV.jpg EDIT: Nevermind about the AO mixing types. Just saw what Boris posted. Explains why SSAO didn't seem very v...

That .118 preset was sort of a failed experiment--and yes, those screens are accurate if my memory is correct. Personally, I think the .116 settings better.

Re: Crosshatched/checkered shadows?
You're getting the pattern because you've set iblurdeferredshadowmask=0. Try setting it to 3 or 4. Also check your shadowbiasscale (I think that's what it's called) value. EDIT: Best values are between 0.1 and 0.2. You'll also want to enable all the optional shadow settings in enbseries.ini like so:...

Re: TES Skyrim
@Gionight Nice Dishonored screenshots :) Looks like Arkane did a good job with the whole concept-art aesthetic (something DE:HR seemed to struggle with). Also, I read somewhere that the flight area for Alborz Mountain in BF3 is actually larger than all of Skyrim's playable landmass lol. Either way, ...

Re: TES Skyrim
@SecretSumo & IndigoNeko I'll be honest, I have no idea. When I booted up that particular quest I was shocked myself; I can't recall the smoke ever looking quite so good. Maybe it's some kind of high quality volumetric version, which could explain why it's used so sparingly. I'll do some tests a...
