Re: TES Skyrim 0.206
Ok, I just got home from work, I'll edit this with my test3 results in a little bit: One thing I noticed (not sure if it's relavent) - dxDiag reports 4GB of video ram, but 64 bit dxDiag reports 2 GB. Ok, adding results after wandering around Whiterun for a few seconds. MARK1: - 421711.750000 1710 MA...

Enter a new area, and it's back to
F1 - 250
F2 - 250

DigitalPrinceX:
That seems to match what happens when I alt-tab. I'll collect numbers again after I alt-tab to see if they change.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.206
BINGO! It's brilliant. Default ENB settings: After loading a new area, there's the periodic very brief stutter as you look around and see new objects/textures for the first time. After that, very nice with 60 FPS fairly solid. Loading a new area is the same thing. A bit of 'load stutter' and then pe...

Re: TES Skyrim 0.206
Tried new .206, same behavior. VERY low FPS after loading an area, then after alt-tabbing, 60 FPS. Problem recurs when loading a new area, alt-tabbing restores performance. I wandered around a bit in white run (without alt-tabbing) to get a feel for how/when the performance got bad. In some areas I ...

Re: TES Skyrim 0.206
update: I deleted RealVisionENB, and just ran stock .206 and got the same behavior (except for the lighting thing). Right after loading my save game, framerate was lousy, around 1-5 when looking at any scene with a fair amount of textures in it (although no lighting weirdness, clearly that's RVENB ...

Re: TES Skyrim 0.206
Boris When I first load up my framerate is pretty epically bad. FPS is ok if I look at the floor, then I get around 60. But if point the camera anywhere with lots of textures I get ~1 FPS, and lighting starts to go crazy and flickery. The weird thing is if I alt-tab out of the game, and back again....
