Skyrim 0.266 - washed out skies?
I've been updating my Skyrim preset for the latest 0.266 binary, and I just can't get any good color from the sky. When comparing to non-ENB (by toggling shift-F12), my preset's sky is always much dimmer and washed out, and I can't get that nice brilliant sky blue color. I've tried disabling mist an...

[Skyrim] Taleden's Lifelike ENB for RLO+CoT
WHAT'S DIFFERENT ABOUT THIS ENB PRESET? Taleden's Lifelike ENB (for RLO+CoT (hey that rhymes!)) is meant for actually playing Skyrim, while still making it as beautiful, immersive and lifelike as possible. Above all, I tried to adjust or eliminate any lighting or visual effects which remind you tha...

Re: Night Vision
Yes, I see all of the "Cinematic" imagespace parameters available in enbeffect.fx (under _c3, _c4 and _c5), but _c1 and _c2 didn't seem to correspond to the values I expected for various "HDR" parameters, including the Target Lum Min/Max. But if there are more registers we could ...

Re: Night Vision
Okay, I did some testing of my own. I see that _c3.wxz contains the effective Cinematic Brightness, Saturation and Contrast (y is always 0 it seems), _c4.wxyz contains the effective Tint ARGB, and _c5.wxyz contains the effective Fade ARGB. All of these values are from the base imagespace of the curr...

Re: Night Vision
Then, what is the meaning of this code comment? r1=_c3.w * r1 - r0.y; //khajiit night vision _c3.w Is there no way to even approximately detect when night vision is active? Because my hope was to tie it into the procedural color correction (cut gamma in half, set saturation to 0 seems to look alrigh...

Night Vision
I know that defining "APPLYGAMECOLORCORRECTION" in enbeffect.fx allows Khajiit Night Vision to work, and I see in the code that it seems to be based on the value of "_c3.w". But does anyone know what the actual range of this value is, in-game? I assumed it began at 0.0 and went t...

Re: TES Skyrim 0.231
I don't see any good AA options for use with ENB. FXAA and SMAA aren't really AA, they smudge stuff... they smudge differently, but they smudge Is there any anti-aliasing algorithm in the world that doesn't smudge stuff? I mean, that's fundamental problem that anti-aliasing is addressing, right? Th...

Re: TES Skyrim 0.229
taleden I did fix for reflected sky and clouds in water and in that place with that weather i don't see any bugs and can only guess it's some of clouds types not handled by mod, so it's probably other mod adding them. Try to tweak intensity of clouds and see (on sky) if one of layers is not affecte...

Re: TES Skyrim 0.229
You added something to ENB that deals with cloud reflections in water, right? I think there might be a glitch with that, because I've started seeing some weird flickering in reflected clouds: http://i.imgur.com/jNJLwc0l.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Dm5a2UUl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/aPh5T9ul.jpg http://i.img...

Re: TES Skyrim 0.229
The water looks really great, Boris. Whenever you get tired of working on that, any chance we could see a fix for the skylighting brightness bug? That's the only thing left that looks bad to me; I don't mind turning off particle lights to avoid that snow bug, but I can't go without skylighting, it l...
