Re: TES Skyrim 0.272

Boris, I have a problem with vsync, perhaps you can help me out. Basically the game feels very smooth when it's locked at refresh rate, but if I in a certain situation I lose like 3-4 FPS, it looks like the game is running at a choppy 15-20 FPS (even though FPS counter is still reporting much higher...

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.267

Confirmed:

-Phisically based rendering
-Dynamic volumetric lighting
-Running on the Creation Engine
-No visible pop-in (that I noticed)
-Shadows are okay but not very detailed, might be because the demo is on console?

So, what do you guys think?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.266

EnableVSync=false You must be kidding right? I have it enabled, don't worry. Even if it wasn't I have driver FPS limiter enabled. Enabling ENB FPS limiter causes heavy amounts of stuttering when turning for some reason. You still didn't answer my question, though. Does the command EnableVsync contr...

Re: TES Skyrim 0.266

Is it normal that ENB disables Skyrim's own vsync?

With iPresentInterval=1 and without ENB = no screen tearing
With iPresentInterval=1 and ENB (EnableVSync=false) = massive screen tearing

As you can see I have disabled ENB VSync, but shouldn't the game just keep using its own VSync?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.264

Hey Boris! Have you thought about making a PBR shader for Skyrim/F:NV/F3? I know that those games were not made to be used with physically based rendering but just replacing the specular and cubmaps with metalness and roughness would already give better results that just crappy old-gen shading with...

Re: [BETA] Dynamic Distant Objects LOD

Sheson this is amazing. The video blew me away. The LOD system is the first thing I absolutely hate about this game. No matter how pretty you make it look like with ENBs, you are always going to notice that extremely distracting pop-in when you move around a bit. If this finally removes the popping ...

Re: TES Skyrim 0.264

Hmm... that is unfortunate :( How about a public "roadmap" post where you list things that you want to do, and if these are possible/not possible? Not just in regards to visual effects, but things like ENBSeries support for new games, further optimization, etc. Other people may be able to ...

Re: Question about FPS limiter

Gotcha. By the way now I use game's vsync and ENB vsync, tearing completely gone and no input lag at all.
