Hi anybody,
as some may have recognized, I joined this board some months ago, asked a lot of (stupid) questions about this (Boris) great mod.
I tried to learned as much, as I could, a lot by trail and error. I got some nice hints and tips here from some of you.
And now I have finished...no, this isn't really finished, but I thinks its good enough to be released for the first time:
My playable Preset.
The name is what it's menat to be:
I tried to create a Preset not for screenshots or downsampling, but for gaming.
And as my PC isn't the best anymore, I tried to get a good mixture between best visuals and performance.
I tried to make dungeons and nights dark enough, to make torches useful, but bright enough, so that their are not necassarily needed.
I took a look into the files of Stakado (realistic), HD6 (for brightness/darkness control of night in game) and Matso (depth of field).
I combinated their different .fx files to get a look I like and modified the enbseries.ini only.
Download ENB 0.114beta for Skyrim and overwrite some files with the one found in the attached zip.
I really want to know, what's your opinion about it. What should I improve?
The results can be seen here: (I tried to capture all daytimes at riverwood)

hi,
it looks good and i like how the interiors look now. the depth of field is also more subtle.
however there seems to be something causing a perpetual 'fogginess' in my game..is that normal?
is there anyway to stop this? would love to use your settings still.
thanks!!

I'm not sure, I understand, what you mean.yango_dango wrote:however there seems to be something causing a perpetual 'fogginess' in my game..is that normal?
Can you give me a picture?
Anyway, since that first (and yet last) release, I've improved alot.
I think, I can upload that soon, hopefully before this weekend.

aha! what i meant is shown in your second screenshot right there. the first one of the green creepers on the wall looks amazing but the second one of the flora is..you know, foggyish and desaturated. is that supposed to be the desired effect?

Thats a result of the dynamic bokeh depth of field effect.
I'm just learning how to modifiy, create or write shaders and I'm a very beginner in this. Yet, what you see, I have just modified a shader that comes with that dynamic bokeh depth of field effect (it's in a file called depth_of_field_options-15983.zip, but I don't know anymore, where it'S from).
The funny thing is, I am working mostly on saturation, making things more colorful. Do you want to guess how desaturated it looked before?

It's no fog.
The simplest way will be deactivating DoF.
If you want to keep that, you'll have to look into enbeffectprepass.fx.
You can't miss the DoF part in that file, it's near the middle.
Happy trial and error

As you may have seen, no update yet. Still working on it, sorry.
