Re: TV ENB for Fallout 3 (.116 NV Beta)

@sparkzout
Download the .116 beta (or .118 if you want SSAO, DOF options) and drop everything into your main game directory (the one with the game .exe). Then drop all my files into the same directory and overwrite. If you have further issues, try setting ForceFakeVideocard=true in enbseries.ini

@Eat Thy Figs
It looks like the bloom is pixelated in your screens. Have you set the bloom quality really low? Maybe Matso's enbbloom.fx file doesn't work well with New Vegas...

Re: TV ENB for Fallout 3 (.116 NV Beta)

@TrillVille The bloom quality in the enb.ini file was set to medium (1) quality so I set it to high (0) and got a small but noticeable improvement. However the glare is still pixelated to hell, and I'm not sure what's causing it or how to fix it.

The color and lighting present in this configuration reminds me of old Italian Baroque paintings, and it is an atmosphere that merges perfectly with the nitty-gritty, post apocalyptic cowboy overtones of Fallout New Vegas.

Thanks for the reply TV. One last issue maybe you can help me with. I have installed a 2k texture pack for landscapes and well, whenever I look in a certain direction the whole game world disappears. This would happen before but after waiting a few seconds the world would come back. The game world doesn't appear back unless I look in the opposite direction of which the world disappeared. Do you think the 2k textures could be interfering with your ENB preset?

Video memory usage issue in this game engine.

Re: TV ENB for Fallout 3 (.116 NV Beta)

Hey I tried this setting but decided I preferred to only use the palette :D so I set UseOriginalPostProcessing=true
UseOriginalObjectsProcessing=true in my enb ini file... but there seems to be an issue where screen tears are visible even with v-sync on. one tear is there always (from top right to bottom left corner) that causes the image to be distorted by a couple of mm. I was using this setting before with no problems but now there is... does anyone know whats the problem? any feedback would be greatly appreciated,
cheers

Sorry mistake in my above post... I meant to say UseOriginalPostProcessing=true
UseOriginalObjectsProcessing=false

Re: TV ENB for Fallout 3 (.116 NV Beta)

What kind of GPU do you have? I remember there being a vsync issue with Nvidia drivers that was corrected recently. You may also want to disable EnableFPSLimit in enbseries.ini if you have adaptive vsync on.

Re: TV ENB for Fallout 3 (.116 NV Beta)

I have an ATI card (HD 5870) ... but the enb series doesn't seem to run any different whether I force it to run as NVIDIA card or not.
I'm using the d3d9.dll from the 116 beta so I can use hardware antialiasing :)
its strange though as I was able to run this before with the screen problems but I have no idea what I did...

I'll just post my ini file:

Re: TV ENB for Fallout 3 (.116 NV Beta)

btw I don't have v-sync on when posting the above ini so as to try FPSlimit instead

Re: TV ENB for Fallout 3 (.116 NV Beta)

another typo in one of the previous posts was I meant to say I ran the enb previously without the screen problems...
I had installed and than uninstalled Midhrastic ENB as I preferred to keep fallout 3 looking more post-apocolyptic after I deleted the d3d9.dll included in the .118 NV ENB + Midhrastic ENB files and reinstalling the .116 dll and these TV ENB files I've had the problem :(
I hope this helps
