Here's a Beta version of my ENB, using 0.113. I call it beta because it's still a work in progress.
Enjoy

Re: Kalicola Enhanced Graphics ENB
Hold your horses I might have uploaded this one a bit too early. Actually changed alot just after.. Played around with lens flares again, and got some pretty nice results. I also want to get a bit more contrast in there, and maybe create a new palette, as I think the current one might be crushing the bright highlights.. Might also look at bloom again.. I just got so many things I want to improve it's going to ROCK
I will reupload my beta, as soon as I haved fixed what was wrong with it, especially the nights have a few problems.
Stay tuned

Re: Kalicola Enhanced Graphics ENB
I tried your last config and quite liked it. Only thing I didn't like was shimmering from SSAO when moving (which was easily resolved).
I like the pallette too. I threw that on my config and it looked pretty good.

Unreal warfare: thanks for testing it out how did you remove the flicker exactly? Can tou post the settings? If I increase sampling I get too big of a framerate drop.

What system are you running?
I'll post my SSAO settings later when I've been hospital.

Re: Kalicola Enhanced Graphics ENB
I'm not very good at computers and hardware and stuff.. but my computer is something like 4 x 2.6 core, 8gb ram, and geforce 570. It stays between 30 and 40 fps when playing in 1080p "high settings" with my enb running.. Still not sure which kind of anti-aliasing I should use. Right now I use the geforce one 8x and FFAA in skyrim options, and I have no clue if that's the best solution

Re: Kalicola Enhanced Graphics ENB
Although your CPU is multicore Skyrim won't use it efficiently. This game runs better with higher clocks rather than more cores. At 1920x1080 your system will become a little more GPU dependant but I would still cut down on the AA a little because of the CPU. Try using the SMAA that you can use with ENB instead?
I think if you distribute it for use for others you can bump up SSAO quality, just drop it down for personal use.
As an example I have an AMD 965BE @4x4ghz, 8gb Corsair Vengeance, & XFX HD6870. As you can see I have a weaker GPU but a high CPU clock. I run a little faster than you with my config.
Out of interest what are your ini settings? Are you running shadows on Ultra? If so that will kill your framerates with that clock speed. Drop the down to High. It's all on that CPU in my opinion.

Re: Kalicola Enhanced Graphics ENB
I see your point in that it is a very cpu heavy game. I will try and turn down the AA and see if I gain anything from that. When you say SSAA, do you mean FXAA in skyrim options? Or should I use SSAA together with FXAA? You see, I'm not very good when it comes to stuff like this...
I've pushed the "high settings" button in skyrim options, so everything is high, also the shadows. If I put shadows to ultra it will kill the framerate. If I put shadows to medium, I won't really notice a difference from high to medium, so I keep it at high.. I skyrimprefs.ini I think I have bumped primary shadows to 4096 and secondary to 2048 I think, that also doesn't make a huge difference in fps, and shadows on trees and rocks of course, that's a MUST have no matter what. I have shadow distance on 4000. I think I have gritsize on default, and not 7.
I just really really want to be able to record vides at 30fps, when I reach this with ENB on, then I have succeded in the performance department I believe So any help on this will be MUCH appriciated
Can you overclock a cpu to make it run faster? I am 100% noob in that department :/

Re: Kalicola Enhanced Graphics ENB
I noticed it's better to be turned on to make videos because you have no huge fpsdrop while recording with a programm. and if you set the 30 fps with the recording programm (in my case fraps) it gives a better performance while recording. the 2 fps are kind of a safety zone if a small fpsdrop happens it nearly won't be noticed =)kalicola wrote:legacyy: I actually got to understand why you want fpslimiter ON? I think I have it OFF, or on 60 or something.. Why do I want it ON, and why 32? I really don't like fraps. It makes everything darker when playing it back. I've tested fraps, playclaw, dxtory and some other ones. Dxtory and Bandicam are giving me the best videos, and right now I use bandicam cause the file sizes are smaller then with dxtory. I've spend alot of time on my SSAO settings, and I'm pretty sure I've get the best settings which has the best mix of performance and quality, with a little more emphis on performance I will post my SSAO settings next time I turn on my home computer.
SSAO Settings look good, maybe decrease ILAMOUNT a bit (i got 1.5 for example) foro better performance and no picture quality loss
Thanks for beta, got to test it the next days... but so goddamn busy with photoshootings this week
PS:
Reduce the primary/secondary shadow to normal, aren't important any more with the shadow fix. And try to use my FXAA: http://www.mediafire.com/?vbkmbs3bz0ww76l It has 1-2fps performance loss and no ingame/nvidia AA is needed any more =)
enable with:
EnableProxyLibrary=true
InitProxyFunctions=true
ProxyLibrary=d3d9-FXAA.dll
PPS:
About OC: do you have a custom CPU Cooler or the stock one? I can help if you want. What CPU do you have? If you don't know use CPU-Z to look it up.
And try to overclock GPU, too. (MSI afterburner is really good, but you need to disable the ingame overlay otherwise the enb won't work.
