No problem, friend ;) And thanks, I really wanted to try something different. Almost finished the next version before scrapping it, I'm kind of losing steam with the various things I can't seem to be able to perfect. What about you, have you been secrectly preparing a new cool setup?

Ahahaha, no )) I thought about it, but yeah, too many things I can't control properly and I think I'm not interested in it anymore for this period of time - I've finished the whole game in vanilla state, then WOW - really awesome shit with ENB presets shows up so the game looks different and I was interested to revisit many locations again and again. But presets I'd like to use was not ideal so I tweaked them to fully playable state and then shared so others can enjoy them as I do. And for now I don't see new evolution stages before new preset from Boris... except your vintage stuff because its totally different 8-)

So now I'm only waiting for final preset from Boris and official additions with patches and addons.
And only short screenshot sessions from time to time (Skyrim can be so beautiful with ENB), but no normal gameplay because it's a damn wasteland for my 1st character, and it also damn boring to replay with other characters - lame script, lame quests (only some daedric quests are OK), lame everything except some landscapes and attention to details.

Re: fedorrrz_HD6 ENB

I know what you mean. At certain stage you get to know ENB fairly well and realize what is possible given the limitations of the game and what is not, after which you tend to somewhat lose interest. That said, I also hope new ENB versions, mods and future patches will breathe new life into the game, but otherwise it's pretty much time to take a break.

I really haven't played the game at all since December, I think, after I completed it the first time. Overall, I was pretty disappointed with it. Some of the landscapes are indeed pretty cool, but otherwise the game world is a far cry from a living, breathing fantasy world. And don't even get me started on the repetitive dungeons... Yuck! It's a damn shame since the game and the premise had a huge potential, but of course with a developer like Bethesda, it would have been stupid to except anything else than what it is.

Re: fedorrrz_HD6 ENB

I've been trying a lot of the new ENB settings that are out there lately, and I have to say this is probably, no definitely... the best of the lot on my own screen. The colors are pretty fantastic and the lighting during the daytime is near perfect. I've started a new game and have just exited Helgen, so I've not seen the nights yet.

But, I have two issues that I'd like to adjust. First, while I love the depth of field, it's just too much for me. which files and which lines in those files will allow me to tone down the DOF, or better yet, push it further out? I'm thinking the lines would be in enbeffectprepass.fx, but I'm not sure.

Also, I started a brand new game, and was just amazed with the light and the colors from the initial carriage ride, through the near execution to the escape the the caverns beneath Helgen... But then I exit Helgen into Skyrim's countryside and the snow nearly blinded me. It may be my own personal taste, but I'd like the lower the intensity of the snow, I find it too blinding. What settings would control the brightness of the snow? Would it be the bloom?

I'm attaching a screenshot to (hopefully) help illustrate what I mean...

Crap! I forgot to re-size that picture. Sorry for throwing the sizing of the thread off. :(

Re: fedorrrz_HD6 ENB

So, at first which HD6 is this: default or cyan sky?
For DOF I advise you to try different enbeffectprepass.fx files from any other presets - just rewrite them - it's harmless. Forget about changing lines for yourself - it eats too much free time.
Also don't forget to find "float2 fvTexelSize = float2(1.0 / 1920.0, 1.0 / 1200.0)" line in it and change 1200 to 1080 as your screen size.
I've added early Matso's DOF - may be it will suits you.

Ah...snow..snow... let's see... you can decrease DirectLightingCurveDay parameter in enbseries.ini to 1.0 or lower. Changing some bloom parameters also can do the thing, but they affect too much stuff.

Re: fedorrrz_HD6 ENB

Thank you, fedorrrz. I'll try your recommendations and I'll also try that prepass. Cheers! :) Oh, and I'm using the default by the way.
