@keithinhanoi - I've yet to play with VMMap but with my findings so far I think i'll need to.
Can anyone here post up their memory usage in both the enb host process and tesv process while under full load with all the memory patches and around 200 mods with full texture packs please?
I want to know if my setup reaching between 1.4-1.6gb on enb host and nearly 1.1gb on tesv is the norm. Previous to this memory fix I used to get to 850mb on tesv and become really unstable (count to 10 CTD).
Thank you!

Re: Skyrim Memory Patch - fixing ILS, uGrids CTD, freezes
Let me tell you that even if you don't use uGrids or play at a lower resolution or only have 4gb of system RAM, this patch definitely makes gameplay truly enjoyable.
My specs are: AMD Athlon II X2 260 (3.2Ghz), 4gb (2x2gb) of system RAM (Kingston ValueRAM PC1333), and a Powercolor Radeon HD7750 1gb DDR3. Also never tried uGrids due to those limitations.
Prior to the use of this mod, and before that a total reinstallation, I was driven up to the wall by CTDs/ILS/freeze errors, mostly after the game began to read/write too much or when it encounters a Papy bug or a NIF/skeleton clash, and I was then installing mods manually; I would always hit the 2.80-3gb boundary and CTD back down. Even trying Safetyload hardly helped after I had a series of CTDs involving SkyUI and that mod.
So I had to reinstall everything, the whole game and all, but this time with MO to manage the mods; also selected a texture pack with 1k outdoors and 2k indoors.
Okay, after installing the memory patch, and fired up the game, I was instantly astonished by the increased framerates, going from 20FPS to 30FPS in most places, and 30-40FPS indoors. This even with all ENB (am using 0.211 binaries -- had to revert to this version for now -- and Bronze's True Vision presets) features enabled. Maybe I had a couple of CTDs (but they were caused by buggy mods and I removed them since) or a brief reduction of FPS by 10-15, and yet I found myself playing the game up to 5 solid hours without any disruption whatsoever. Looked at Task Manager after playing and noticed that I was nearing the 3.1gb limit and never crashed (of course before playing I would turn off unnecessary programs).
However, even with this patch, I think it's still important to choose and select what mods you really want to install and use, especially when it concerns to texture sizes and poly counts of meshes, and good modding practices should remain, including DDS optimization and mod cleaning, when playing modded Skyrim on a lower-than-baseline spec PC.

Re: Skyrim Memory Patch - fixing ILS, uGrids CTD, freezes
It certainly is. With 220+ mods (very heavy Papyrus usage), complete texture pack changes, fully ENB'd and lots of other non plugin based mods and tweaks, even with this memory fix I can still quite successfully crash Skyrim even at uGrids to 5.... however just the removal of one mod in particular makes it stable again (SkyTEST) at higher uGrids. No direct conflicts I can see, script problems probably (I just love the pigs, rats, and spiders but alas it crashes my setup).I think it's still important to choose and select what mods you really want to install and use
System is Windows 8.1, 12gb RAM, Extreme i7, Striped SSD's, and SLI 4Gb 670's.

Re: Skyrim Memory Patch - fixing ILS, uGrids CTD, freezes
Hi! Thanks and my Сongratulations to the Сreators and Artists of this miracle! And to all, to all those who know how to Love and to appreciate the Beauty !
Prompt, can anyone knows how to do the same beautiful city lights and windows, as in this shot...
What mods and INI settings help make it ?
Yesterday, I quickly found here this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17605/?
I also use ugrids = 13 (of course, only with the SKYRIM MEMORY PATCH )
this mod really adds additional light sources , but the lights do not look like in this shot and not very visible from a distance!...
I was changing the settings of this mod and this INI:
fFlickeringLightDistance=4096.0 (I have it only in skyrim.ini , was 8192, I have not changed it)
fSpecularLODStartFade=2500.0000 (I have it only in skyrimprefs.ini)
fSpecularLODMaxStartFade=3000.0 (I have it only in skyrim.ini)
fLightLODStartFade=15000.0000 (I have it only in skyrimprefs.ini)
fLightLODMaxStartFade=20000.0 (I have it only in skyrim.ini)
, which is strong and visible change in this aspect is not saw .
saw on forum this settings:
fSpecularLODMinStartFade=25000.0000
fSpecularLODRange=50000.0000
fSpecularLODDefaultStartFade=75000.0000;
fLightLODMinStartFade=25000.0000
fLightLODRange=50000.0000
fLightLODDefaultStartFade=75000.0000
, but I have not tried yet .
If someone knows and understands this , will be very grateful for the information.
I think this information will be useful for many people.
Thanks in advance !

Re: Skyrim Memory Patch - fixing ILS, uGrids CTD, freezes
So everything works great for me except for the fact that I cannot load save games following a death. The game will load my initial save no problem, but if I die I just get infinite load screen. 768/512 is my usual setting, but I've tried a bunch of others to see if that was the issue, with no luck. I also thought it might be an enblocal.ini setting issue (still think it might be) so I've played around with a bunch of settings there as well, but also no luck. Also lowered my uGrids back down from 11 to 9, and then again to 7, but this didn't help either. Again, the game runs great while actually playing, it's just if I need to load a save game in exterior (only tried exterior at this point) I get the infinite load screen. And I can tell when the game is actually loading the save properly, because the load screen image will jerk a bit while it processes the request, but after a death it just sits there. Anyone have any experience with this? I haven't used ENBBoost or any ENB really prior to installing this patch so any direction or help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Edit: I'm running a Intel i7-4770k 3.5GHz, 16GB RAM, and Dual Nvidia 780's in SLI in Windows 8.1, so system spec shouldn't be an issue

Re: Skyrim Memory Patch - fixing ILS, uGrids CTD, freezes
@keithinhanoi
Doing all this seems almost overkill. General ballpark figures for the first block seem good enough. Unless the system is really desperate for memory of course.
If you set
skyrim.ini
[General]
bAlwaysActive=1
Skyrim will not pause
I still wonder if skyrim performance monitor can be updated? Someone go ask its author.
@Phinix
Actually the block is about 2MB over the 256MB. 264,320>262,144
@LifeEditor
The most important mods in this shot are
Open Cities Skyrim. Immersive Settlements, Enhanced Lights and FX, Skyrim Particle Patch for ENB
ENB used to brighten all light sources

Re: Skyrim Memory Patch - fixing ILS, uGrids CTD, freezes
Oh my god! I am playing Skyrim It needed two years until I was able to PLAY Skyrim and not to Fix an error or looking for the reason of a CTD. WOW!
I love modding and after I bought the game in 2011 I really liked to add mods and to enhance the experience. Unfortunately it started very soon that Skyrim was
more a CTD-Tycoon Manager type of game. When I have a look at the savegame-time and make a comparison to the ingame time of Steam it is terrifying how
much time I wasted for nonsense fixing:
Time played (savegame) = 49 Hours
Time ingame (steam stats) = 218 Hours
Okay if you consider that you have to reload a savegame because of death or because of a mistake (normal stuff), then the steam ingame time would be quite smaller, but anyway!
Thank you for doing this fix!

Re: Skyrim Memory Patch - fixing ILS, uGrids CTD, freezes
This is unreal. I have been struggling with ILS, CTD, and freezes for over a year now. I thought ENBoost and Safety Load would deliver me from this evil, and they certainly fixed some problems, but I could never get a stable game. Until now!
I used Uriel24's universal version of the memory patch for both steam and non-steam users. I have about 200 active plugins and many texture mods.
Here's my plugin list:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7N4BO ... sp=sharing
Here's my list of texture mods:
I don't know anything about memory testing, so I can't tell you how much memory was used in each block. I set mine up using 768/512 mem1 and mem2. I simply loaded up a Whiterun save that was giving me trouble and ran all the way to an Immersive Patrol battle area, which would always freeze or CTD. Not only was I able to participate in the battle with nary a stutter, but I decided to get bold and use the console to spawn 30 MORE NPC Stormcloak and Imperial soldiers. As the battle wore on, I kept spawning more NPCs. Eventually a dragon showed up due to Deadly Dragons and started killing the soldiers. The whole time my game barely stumbled while processing the ongoing battle and my framerate dropped to around 15 fps at some point, but would eventually climb back up to my capped 32 FPS. All this with uGridsToLoad=7... I have NEVER been able to play a stable game with uGrids higher than 5.
Here is a screenshot of Skyrim Performance Monitor. I didn't test for long as I just wanted to see if I could even run the game when normally it would crash. I plan on playing for at least a few hours tonight, so we'll see how it handles after an extended gaming session.
-Using latest RealVision ENB v246a Full Effects
-Using enblocal.ini optimized for AMD 7950 3GB
-Using stable uGrids mod cellstabilizer.dll
-Using OneTweak for borderless window
-Using mempatch.dll (768/512) non-steam
-Using cleanmem running every 5 minutes
-Removed Safety Load which caused constant crashing (conflict with SkyUI it seems)
-Removed precache killer
edit - I thought it was tase's version, but it's actually Uriel24's version. And I forgot to mention cleanmem.
