Re: TES Skyrim

I guess this the place to learn something about enb. enhancements ;)

I just installed Opethfeldt's enb, v6_03c, the main preset, but things are way to bright during daylight, esp. with sunny weather and a bit to dark inside caves etc. and at night.
To be short, I want it to look like mindflux screens, which are just stunning, beautiful colorpalettes and contrast, maybe I want them a bit sharper, but I know how to use a post sharperer.
But I lack the knowledge how the enb. settings are working.

I did:

-installed the enb. d3d9.dll in gamedir
-installed enbfiles.
-run the launcher, and set things below in this order:

Realistic Lighting.esp (old vanilla version slightly modified)
Realistic Lighting Patcher.esp
RevampedExteriorFog.esp
Dark Dungeons for ENB.esp

bFloatPointRenderTarget=1
bTreesReceiveShadows=1
bDrawLandShadows=1

Also I use injFX_Shaders for post sharpening.
and some other things

What do I have to change or what do I wrong for not needing sunglases when playing with this enb.?
I run two HD7970's in CF and I also use SSAA.

mindflux what enb. are you running, also one with skylighting I suppose?
Youre screens are what I try to archieve.

Because Crossfire is bugued with some effects, like Adaptation where it gets disabled and make the game overexposed. Disable CF and tell me how it looks. The only way to play with ENB and Crossfire is to disable Adaptation and configure the preset specifically for adaptation off, because it looks different.

Re: TES Skyrim

Skinner, Opeth pretty much nailed it - CF is the scourge of your malice. If you don't want to disable CF, I guess what you could do is to disable adaptation in enbseries.ini and then try to work the postprocessing values in enbeffect.fx until you find something you like.

And thanks, glad you like the look. My ENB is originally based on CLENB, but it's admittedly gone pretty far from its roots. I'm using the latest ENB binary with skylighting enabled and Revamped Exterior Fog as well as Dark Dungeons.

Nice video, Aleena. Your exterior lighting scheme seems great, especially the trees look just great.

Re: TES Skyrim

Thanx guys, I will try with adaptation off, I need CF when using SSAA, (allthough sometimes I wounder if it (SSAA) alway's work with postfilters). I already tried this, but indeed it's looks different then, I will reconfigure the settings, hopefully I can find something that make it looks ok.
Also even when it's to bright, in many tod's it looks a lot better then vanilla lighting.

Also nice that it contains a framerate limiter. The game crashes when using msi afterburner's OSD, even in the d3d compatibilty mode. But this one works like a charm. I just set it on 59 fps, 1 fps under my screen refreshrate and gone is any lag or micro stuttering :)

Mindflux, Í think most users will search for something of personal taste, it's nice that Boris make this possible, its not the first game that he made look a lot nicer :)
