Re: TES Skyrim
After redoing the sky,(Brightening days) I had to overhaul nights and day lighting, which is a pain to do with CoT, as it limits the power of environment variables outdoors. I'm trying to stay away from HD6 day/night separation as much as possible, as it can bork my interiors. (which I'm also redoing) This leaves me to using enbseries.ini night/day/interior as my go to, but again CoT limitations force me to raise an lower these values to extreme amounts, I'm happy with nights, but not so much with days. Ah well... :?
Using v0.123 wrapper, also,
Project Reality - Climates Of Tamriel - Weather - Lighting by JJC71

I'm not kind of social human, but register my account on this forum special to say personal "thanks" to you for your work
I've to attempt many of famous ENB from most popular Skyrim sites , however been deeply disappointed for known reason. All of 'em ( no offense to other authors, just my imho) are looks good on the screen shots , but in-game it's just burn your eyes and for sure lie the colors , terrible contrast and gamma, etc, etc...
The strong side of yuor ENB is:
realistic colors, contrast and gamma
no fps less
sharpen? anyways my graphic replacers are looks much better now
btw Can't play w/o your ENB :p
The question is :
Why sunset is in Whiterun ...umm.... dark-deep-red... umm Do I miss something?
Why huge blurring when do I try close up my character :p
Should I set something special in Skyrimprefs.ini? I have to use gamma 1.0
Anyway your beta.54 is the best ENB to this time, I hope you keep work at this key , amazing work, it is MUCH better in-game then on the your screen shots
P.S. sorry for my English
Thanks for the kind words man. It makes me happy that some like my preset. I do sometimes feel a little small compared to the enb masters of unreal, opethfeld and mindflux, and let's not talk about Gionight, he must have magic fingers or somethingdenczy wrote:@kalicola

I do agree with you, alot of presets look awesome on their screenshots, and when you try it out yourself, it looks nothing like the images, and your wondering if you're doing something wrong. I DO tweak my config with gameplay in mind. I haven't completed the game yet, and will only do so, when I have the perfect enb and mod setup, which I'm getting really close to achiving I think.
The blur on your character upclose is anoying I know, especially in the character creation menu. I know there's another Dof code that fixed this by expanding the focus radius, but that dof does not look near as good I think. but I will put it on my things-to-do-list and have a look at it at some point, and see if I can make it better. Right now I have just learned to live with it, I guess.
Could you make a screenshot of that dark red whiterun sunset perhaps? Then I can see if I have the same on my screen.
And yes, your game brightness have to be fGamma=1.0000 (game slider in the middle). And make sure that you don't have ANY other lighting mods installed. I'm trying to make this config so that it does not require any other mods at all. No realistic lighting mods, no dark dungeons, no weather overhauls and so forth.
Greedy: Thanks for the links, interesting. What is the difference between CBBE and UNP? Which one is better? And it only works when they are naked right? Unless you find a mod that changes all amors to CBBE or UNP right? And does it only work on your character or does NPCs use it too?... So many questions, as I'm only just now digging into character improvements...
far327: Thanks. BNPC looks pretty nice, maybe a little too manga to me, but it's still prettier than vanilla, so I will give it a try and that better males mod also looks great, except I like strong men to have hair on their chest. It gives me a start to dig into character improvements, so that's very nice, thanks alot. Gonna see some epic character screenshots soon

Hery, just a quick note to let you guys know that at least Matso's later OBGE-derived DOF code has a parameter fWeaponBlurCutoff that you can expand to prevent the character from being blurred. Check out his stuff at his Nexus page for Project Matso ENB, the files should be included in the latest version.

@kalicola
yup, I don't have realisting lighting, dark dungeons, weather overhaul mods installed, I'm understand that can conflict with yuor presets. But what do you think about "lighting" at ENB and mods?
I have figured out that is remove non-realistic lightings out of houses, caves, etc. Is it make game more realistic? Yes. Is it make gameplay better? No.
Being inside my house at Whiterun (aww, most of houses and almost all the caves) I can't see anything w/o torch Vanilla's lighting system got a good point overthere.
Do you plan at yuor mod make fire/lighting places are more usefull? ie make 'em radiate more light?
