Re: TES Skyrim
In other news I wish somebody would make a summer area rofl
Winter is so cold to play during winter
..which is funny considering the midnight release to Skyrim it was 26 and snowing, and I was in a T-shirt and shorts outside waiting for an hour

Quote an image so we have a reference of what you consider blurry. There's several things that can cause a blurring effect in a preset and it would be hard to pinpoint something exactly without specific source material to investigate.Lauren wrote:No I mean even the foregroundmindflux wrote:Lauren
I think that's these days called DOF
In general FXAA, Bloom, and DoF can all cause blurring in some form.

Re: TES Skyrim
Been working a bit more on mine. Midday and interiors still need some tweaking, but my nights and dawn are right where I want them.

is an example where it seems like the image should still be loading or something,
http://s7.postimage.org/e807l53gb/Screen_Shot230.jpg and http://s8.postimage.org/tv027y8f9/Screen_Shot225.jpg
but also there are ones like saltr's and sometimes opeth's that seem to have like a massive color filter over them which makes them have colour burn to me.... is it just my monitor?
I'm not saying they're bad or done wrong or anything they just look too blurry (first one) or colour burnt like the second two

Lauren
I honestly thought you were joking, many presets employ a kind of DOF effects that more or less blurs the whole screen.
Anyway, your shots look fine to me. The first one has a very intense DOF, but if you prefer, you can always tone it down via enbeffectprepass.fx or switch to another one. The two latter shots are from saltr's new preset, right? I think he posted a few screens a couple of pages back, and that's pretty much how it's supposed to look - remember that the weather parameters have a lot of effect on how the preset looks. I think it looks unique and has a lot of potential.

No idea about that AMD card (is it really that cheap compared to GTX670 or so?), but love the way your preset looks.

The first one just actually hurts my eyes because they try to focus but can't since her face is actually blurred in the image itself
and like I said I'm not sayin' they're bad it was just me curious if my monitor was off or something
