Confidence-Man: "I want to be able to see in the shadows but I don't want nights to be very bright, adaptation solves this but makes things too dark when I look at intense fire or auroras."
Did you try to use ForceMinMaxValues in Adaptation category? It can solve your problem with darkening things when you are looking to intensive fire. See images below when ForceMinMaxValues is set ON/OFF. You can try my min/max values but it can change the look of your preset such as lighting. So probably you would need to edit your preset lighting values. Just try to play with those values. Also it will change the sun brightness as you can see on last two images.

Re: TES Skyrim
@symphonicjohn- Thanks for posting some pics of my config! It has better performance probably mostly because my SSAO settings are very conservative, I think it looks really bad with a higher sampling range, at least on my rig with my amd 6850. Can't stand the flashing and inconsistency of the ssao on distant mountains/fog. Also my skylighting effect and filter are at 2, even though sometimes it can give a really bad looking stippling effect in the shadows. My rig can't handle all the fun stuff
I have never played the lottery before but now I am contemplating it because I want a brand new titan

Re: TES Skyrim
@EVO - looks fantastic man! I figured out why my shots looked so dark when I tried your config. I had a tweakedfog replace .esp in use. Tends to deepen shadows and contrast. My fault...
@--JawZ-- I appreciate the compliment, however I just have a different taste. Unreal is still one of the tops in my book for female characters.

Thank you Far ah that explains it, Not sure why your sky was deep blue though.
you still working on your config? The screens John posted look great, must be nice to have someone use your config

Same reason, that fog tweak does some neat stuff, but it's a pain to control for ENB. I got it from Polo ENB.EvoFq3o0 wrote:Thank you Far ah that explains it, Not sure why your sky was deep blue though.

IDK, It's worth centering a config around it because it really does make some very interesting lighting effects.
I've thought about building a config around it. I likely will once I finish Far Off...
This shot was taken with that fog tweak file as well. The blue in this sky was unbelievable when I was in game. Given it's probably too vibrant for most people, but it was stunning in game IMO

Re: TES Skyrim
Nice pic Far
But htat is what the curve values are for, compensating for the intense blueish or colorful skies. I have achieved similar blueish sky with completely vanilla weather and lighting
EDIT;
I just found out that CoT 3.0 have been released, so I'm going to test that out and if it have had the ENB issues fixed I will stall the EWE Weather mods and focus my attention on the interior lighting part of EWE instead. Because if CoT is less ENB troublesome a proper interior lighting made with ENB in mind is of higher value In my own opinion.
