Re: TES Skyrim
this has been driving me crazy:
Bug with the lower cloud band in cloudy weathers, only seems to appear in that portion of the sky. Sometimes it fades away and fades back in, depending on the position of the clouds. Anyone ever get this bug before? Clouds are vanilla btw.

Re: TES Skyrim
Yes its due to the alpha levels of the cloud layers. You can alter this in the CK.Bug with the lower cloud band in cloudy weathers, only seems to appear in that portion of the sky. Sometimes it fades away and fades back in, depending on the position of the clouds. Anyone ever get this bug before? Clouds are vanilla btw.
Think it happens when you have multiple incompatible cloud layers... I fixed it last night in a few of my snow storms, by removing one layer, and setting the others alpha to 0.70 during sunset.
And a lovely sunset for ya

Re: TES Skyrim
It's not the alpha levels, you can see in the bugged pic how the horizon cloud layer is being offset vertically. The little puffs of cloud between the mountains should be the top of the layer, instead it's offset and you're seeing the middle of the texture being cut off where the layer ends on top. For whatever reason in that section of the sky the texture is being drawn wrong or something.
UPDATE
I found out the culprit. I must've nudged the cloud movement on the Y axis for that section of the sky so it was gradually scrolling as it moved.
That's a nice sunset btw. Is that CoT?

Re: TES Skyrim
Interesting that the cloud movement can also influence! Makes sense though! Guess I will have to keep that in mind when I alter the cloud layers!
Thanks for that!
And yes its my modifed CoT files... currently experimenting with sunsets. Seeing your work here makes me jealous!

Confidence-Man
You're ambient lightning/ imagebased lightning is perfect. Looks very realistic!

Thank you! I haven't really spent that much time tweaking my water so it's something like a nice "side effect" of my settings
You recommended the tool Xnview for compression if i'm not mistaken. It is very useful indeed, but i don't seem to find the best settings. Would you mind telling me the settings you're using?

Thanks mate!
The lans flares look really interesting! You should publish your preset

Every screenshot here is plain amazing.
Confidence-Man I have a huge respect for your work. I've looking through some older posts and your pics keeps me drooling over and over. Fantastic!
If you don't like me posting a few .png shots let me know. I'll stop instantly.
Edit: Ok I'll stop lol. Irritaded myself so much with this load time.
