From what i've read on this forum it shouldn't interfere with the ENB, but yes it is disabled (better safe than sorry kind of deal).Doof wrote: steam overlay is disabled?

Ive the same problem as you and Ive done the trouble shoting as you. So, if you find a solution, please post it here. I would love to get it to work (regular user of enbs for fallout/elder scrolls)simas290 wrote:Hello guys, hope this wont be considered off topic, since i just dont see any other option than posting here, where the action is. So i've been trying to get some of before mentioned ENB's to work with my version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R shadow of Chernobyl but to no wail. I have done everything that was mentioned here, or in other threads considering this topic : i have removed shaders r2 folder, turned off in game and drivers Anti-aliasing, i never run programs like FRAPS, MsiAfterBurner and others, and i am aware that dll should go to bin folder , while everything else goes in the root. But when i try to run the game, i can never see any changes and no amount of shift +f12 mashing ever changes that (i can however see the version of the ENB in the top left corner of the screen when the game is starting). I find this whole situation both interesting and annoying. Its interesting because i have used tons of fallout 3, fallout new vegas, TES V: Skyrim ENB's and never encountered such a problem, as for annyoing part, i think the reason is pretty ovbious. Would really appreciate some help, because after seeing how stalker could look with ENB, i just cant sit idly by.
Thank you for your understanding.
Also Ive disabled the Steam overlayer, installed the enb files in correct folder and also tried enb without any mods (such as AA2).

Yeah, for a time i as well suspected mods to be the culprit (though in my case it was completed 2009), yet i later came to a conclusion that was not the case. I'll gladly share the solution should i come up with one. Funny thing, i actually saw your comment yesterday and realization that the fellow gamer's problem, that was the closest to mine was unsolved was what lead me to seek the answers her and on my own.astrob0y wrote:Ive the same problem as you and Ive done the trouble shoting as you. Re: S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl
I ran out of options :?
1) Which gpu are you using guys? if Nvidia 600\700+, try to disable shadowplay o_O (my gpu is 770 gtx and stalker+aa+enb+shadowplay works fine, but i didn't update it to the last version). Also try to check\switch to fullscren mode.
2) "In case you haven't installed any mods before, locate file "fsgame.ltx" in the main S.T.A.L.K.E.R. directory, open with Notepad and change both variables in this line to "true":
$game_data$ = true | true | $fs_root$ | gamedata\" (C) Autumn Aurora 2 ReadMe.
^ I don't know what it is, I do not know whether it is connected to the ENB, all i know that i did this when i install SoC+AA+ENB, and everything is working for me right now. I just wanna find anything i can, to help you guys try ENB in Stalker, because effect is more than amazing (if you using AA2 ofc ).

Re: S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl
As a matter of fact i am using aa2 as well and even without ENB it brings some drastic atmosphere/graphical changes to the game that just astonished me. As far as fsgame.ltx tinkering goes i have already done it (what with aa2 and all) so that's not it. My gpu is indeed of nvidia 700 series, gtx 760 to be exact. But i fail to see how shadowplay could be involved in this particular predicament. Cant really see the connection between the ENB and fullscreen either but gonna give it a shot.tYet the more i try to find a reason for this phenomenon the more i wonder if there even is one.Doof wrote:I ran out of options :?

In any case, i just want to say thanks for trying to help me, not to mention on such short notice. I expected to get a reply tomorrow at the earliest and it to be a one time post and since that is not the case i just wanted to express how grateful i am.

Re: S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl
i am totally confused :?
All i can suggest is full reinstall of stalker, aa and enb, with rereading all readme's and faq's, checking for file locations very carefully.
But maybe you should wait for more answers in this topic.

Hello,
I see that some people have an issue to make autumn aurora 2 working with the enb, it's also happening to a friend.
Doof helped me to make this working but I also tried many things aswell, Maybe there are some files missing in your bin/rootfolder or both of them.
So you could upload a screenshot of theses folders and I'll check if something can be missing.

Well, here they are:Belenos wrote:Hello,

Nice pics btw, whose preset are you using and could you upload it? I am trying to test out all custom presets out there... just in case...
Edit: Could'nt really think of anything else so took the whole game folder and dropped it in desktop and tried auroras ENB from moddb. For a second i thought it worked since i could now see dof effect, unfortunately after pressing shift+f12 i realized that was the only thing this ENB changed. So i thought "mabye now all ENB's would have at least dof", but after some quick testing i came to the conclusion that aurora's enb is the only one (unfortunately it also gives me extremely dark days for some reason). Theni tried SendeRukr ENB ( http://enbdev.com/enbseries/forum/viewt ... 6&start=30 ) which made my game very bright/saturated but it came with no dof (on my pc only ofcourse). Any thoughts?
