Re: S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl

Well it's look okay. Except theses files [enbeffect, enbeffectprepass, enbpalette, enbseries] which are only in the root folder for me.

Are you playing with steam ? I don't know if another version than steam can make a conflict, but my friend with the same problem as you don't run the game with steam. Need someone to confirm if it's working without steam.

I'm using Brussel's presset. Nothing changed i'm too scared to turn my stalker into psychedelic trip with no way back.

Yes man, i am playing with steam, but out of desperation i have moved my game folder to desktop, i just dont really know what else to do , so i am trying everything. As for enbeffect, enbeffectprepass, enbpalette, enbseries files i originally only had them in root folder as well, but seeing as it does'nt work either way i just thought "screw it" and tried putting them in both folders. Its so freaking annoying that i can hardly stand it. It literally doesn't matter what i do it never changes a thing.

So i thought "mabye now all ENB's would have at least dof", but after some quick testing i came to the conclusion that aurora's enb is the only one (unfortunately it also gives me extremely dark days for some reason). Theni tried SendeRukr ENB ( http://enbdev.com/enbseries/forum/viewt ... 6&start=30 ) which made my game very bright/saturated but it came with no dof (on my pc only ofcourse). Any thoughts?
I think what you see is the normal behavior. Boris' standard enb (0176 beta) doesn't have much options. You can control the power of ambient and direct lighting, edit some color/brightness curves etc. And thats it. There is no ssao or other cool effects, which you can see in Skyrim/Fallout (I haven't got lenz dirt effect or a proper bloom to work). Nevertheless, there is the possibilty to add additional shader code via enbeffectprepass.fx, which implements the dof in my preset. So if you can see the dof-effect, enb should run correctly. Additionally you could use sweetfx to enhance the quality.
Btw, i've put all the files to the bin folder, configs, dll's and optional sweetfx and it works just fine (retail version).

Thanks for the input man, it is actually your ENB that i want to use the most. Somehow, i really dont know how but i got one ENB to work. Unfortunately it is the only one that works, and if i try using any other, any effects simply dissapear. So as far as the working one goes, i tried tweaking it (had quite a ridiculous level of bloom) but that's where my knowledge in this area ends, so i was wondering perhaps you could help me make my ENB look like yours?

Re: S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl

Is there a way to configure those settings alongside with RadeonPro? Without RP I'm getting over 1600 FPS on menu, I don't want to meltdown my GPU.

I know that I can setup sweetFX on it, but what about those other settings, like brussel's? I'm really newbie on ENB configuration and only did it sometimes with New Vegas.

Also, I'm having the same issue that simas is getting, I can't properly make that preset to run over the game, even with RP disabled.

The dof-effect is implemented in the enbeffectprepass.fx. You can copy this file to any enb-preset you want to get this effect to work.
But i don't know if i understand you correctly? Does or doesn't my config work for you? Best way to show us is to post some screenshots with enb on/off.

RadeonPro doesn't work with enb. Regarding the fps: Just enable enb. It limits the framerate to 60.
To get enb to work, just read the included readme in my package or look in this thread. It covers all the info you need.

Sorry for confusing you what i meant was that i like your ENB the most (saw your pics), but i cant get it to work. I did however get another one working, and i would really appreciate if you could help me make it look like yours.

Here are some pics of my current situation:

I basically want to improve close-up dof ( mostly its intensity or at least prevent guns being blurry when looking in the distance) and get the sky and clouds looking as beautiful as the ones depicted in your pictures.

Can you post which enb you are using? Then i can look into it.
As for the weapon blur, try these settings in enbeffectprepass.fx:

Code: Select all

#define fFocusBias 0.18
#define fDofCutoff 0.95
#define fDofBias 0.4
You can play with these values to adjust the dof.
