Re: TESIV: Oblivion
Hi All, I have a new video for your consideration -- this is my first video looking at graphics enhancements for Oblivion, please let me know your thoughts!
The Elder Scrolls Oblivion is one of my favorite games of all time, and I am now working on an 'Enhanced Shaders' preset for this game using the power of OBGEv4 - also known as Oblivion Reloaded (http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45749/?)
The Oblivion Reloaded mod adds a comprehensive suite of effects and parameters to allow for complete customization of the game image, including advanced effects like ambient occlusion, depth of field, motion blur, weather effects and more. My 'Enhanced Shaders' preset will be a custom configuration of the mod's many .ini files, designed to look great and perform well ... as shown in this video!
Captured with Shadowplay at 1920x1080 @30FPS on an ASUS G750JH laptop with an overclocked Nvidia GTX 780m 4GB GPU, Intel Core i7-4700HQ CPU @2.4 GHz, 24GB RAM

Re: TESIV: Oblivion
After seeing some screenshots I decided to revisit oblivion and I'm quite happy with the results so far. Only one thing is bothering me, when using detailed shadows the shadows sometimes switch to color inverted (basicaly they become much lighter in color and heavy colorbanding is present aswell).
Do you guys get that too or is it something on my end? And if so, does someone know a fix?
Edit: After some further testing I've noticed that the color switch happens a lot more often when in 3rd person. Second thing is that the issue seems to be related to the ambient light settings. Lowering the ambient light amount also darkens the shadows.

Re: TESIV: Oblivion
I don't think so. Not in my plans to develop Oblivion version at all.

Re: TESIV: Oblivion
That's a shame though. The Enboost wrapper is broken in Windows 10 (latest NV drivers give the failed to initialise renderer message). Is that easily fixed?ENBSeries wrote:I don't think so. Not in my plans to develop Oblivion version at all.
