Re: Fallout 4
This shot is from Sunshine Co-op. It reminds me very much of the hot, humid days around here IRL.

Mac at home out in Sanctuary Hot Spring. One thing I really like about shots like this is how the lenses in the glasses reflect while still being able to see her eyes.

Re: Fallout 4
Hey guys, what texture resolution are you using for each map and what's your graphics card?
Got a 970 and after installing I wanted to see the ultra dlc in combination with vanilla max.
Which means a lot of 4K textures for
diffuse
normal map
spec/gloss in BC7/BC5 = 3 x 20mb per texture
Of course the card can't handle it and switches back and forth between texture resolution or doesn't even load the ultra textures.
Right now I'm resizing the spec/gloss to 2k/1k in DXT1 because it's the least noticable from the three in my opinion. 20mb to 5mb or 2,7mb.
landscape\ground\DirtGravel01_n.dds the normal map seems to be too sharp and is super aliased in 2K and doesn't look better than the vanilla 1K.
Looks like a "bug"
Usually I'm a big fan of Hein's work. Vivid Fallout is cool, but it's also "just" vanilla textures with a few filters and different baking.
Doing stuff from scrap is better in that case
