Rubber-De-Flubber:

Yepp and make sure to check the perform clean install just to be sure to remove any and all driver related files. This will make it so that you have to enter your driver setting for all of your games again so make sure to memorize them or write them down.

I have not seen any cons by not uninstalling the previous driver with having the perform clean install do it for you. The pros are that it goes a lot faster and with less reboots required.

Check this small example:

That artifacts around the leaves comes from the compression.
I feel so stupid, the filename clearly sais jpg and I uploaded bmp. Flicker claims they don't compress it! Thanks for taking your time and trouble to help me learn about this stuff. I can see the "artifacts" now that you've pointed them out. I'm going to try far327's tip and try Mejuba for the next set of screens.

EDIT: @symphonicjohn thanks! If you want I could upload them for you.

Maybe they don't compress uploaded *.jpegs even further, but the conversion from bmp to jpeg inherently compresses it.

Re: TES Skyrim

I use irfanview to convert to jpg, it is very fast and the quality is good.

Re: TES Skyrim

Try XnView. You can convert to jpg with a pretty unnoticeable loss in quality at the highest settings.
