Re: TES Skyrim

Hi all. It's been a while. Haven't checked this forum for far too long now. I'm WAY left behind now, I still need to read up on 400 pages or so, damn!

Lot's of things have happend in my real life, like getting fired from io-interactive (along with 99 co-workers). But the good news is, that I now work on Interstellar Marines, where I get to actual animate stuff, so that I am really happy about..

Anyways.

I picked up 0.228 or something like that. And there's a shitload of new stuff in there, that I try to get my hands around.. I am re-doing my config at the moment, cutting back on the colors, trying to make it look more real, and it looks something like this now.

Re: TES Skyrim

Nice to see you back, Kalicola!

About two weeks ago I thought it would be a great idea to delete my gigantic Skyrim folder and start from the beginning.
Terrible idea. I've been struggling to get anything to look nice.

The first two shots are completely vanilla, the second two with unnecessary many mods, among them Unique Grasses.
Is anyone using that one? I like the variety it adds, but I feel like the plants are just too bright.

Thanks! And great shots. The bright daylight and dark shadows look pretty realistic. Used your config earlier this year to get into tweaking btw :)

Thanks mate! I'm glad you like it. And that last shot of yours...damn those mountains look extremely dramatic. Real clouds looks really good with your config ;)

Kalicola
Nice pics man! Can't wait to see more of your new preset.

@Kali
WB like Boris said good that you found another job and do what you like todo and it's great to hear that ISM continues after the Kickstarter fail, sad to hear that so many lost their jobs @ io-interactive but somehow understandable in which position Square seems to drove into even the CEO Yoichi Wada resigning (seppuku) though i dunno understand it i personally digged both TombRaider and Hitman absolute nice games imho from the European Square Divisions though in Hitman there where a lot of Visual issues with the Blur in the Realtime Cutscene Rendering, i wonder what goes wrong there with Glacier 2 seems Dof or streaming related ;)
The Crowd scenes where fantastic it was just a wow also how you guys introduced them with the doors just epic :)
The reflection rendering is also nice in Glacier 2 despite it's low resolution :)
What's really weird is the mixing of In Engine Cutscenes and Pre Rendered that brakes very often the feel for it, i wonder who made that decision and why :(

Though i think the seamless lod switching in TombRaider between Cutscenes and Gameplay is nicer then in Hitman it feels a little strange in Hitman ;)

i hoped you weren't part of this http://www.gamespot.com/articles/hitman ... 0-6410354/ but who knows maybe it's for the better for you in the end ;)

Also Very Sharp Rendering output in your new redone ENB Preset, should be careful not to overdo it :)

Best wishes for you and the ISM team

Hi, I havent been skyriming for the summer but I have enjoyed to see all your pics from time to time.

The enb is getting easier and easier to work with cause of all the great improvements from boris.

I am also on the Kermles post processing suite that is confusing at first when u get too much strong results and tricky color changes that all blend together but now i am having some results.

Also updated my mod btw.
