Thanks! Well the "secret" is just Realistic Water Two + ENB textures + water parallax and displacement. Nothing special^^ Hope to see some more shots from you in the future!

Stunning shots! The five last of your post are amazing.
Unreal
Beautiful! That's all i can say about your shots
MrRoderick
Awesome shots I could imagine a movie with that preset very well

Thanks dude! I'll give those sunsprites a try.

Dude, that second pic is definitely NOT MEDIOCRE! I really like how the spell's light reflects on the gauntlets.

Re: TES Skyrim
Thanks everyone! I've lurked this thread for so long, including before I built my PC (first build for myself), during which I eager made plans for how I'd mod out Skyrim . So it's great to be posting here myself.
To clarify: It's not really my own preset. I've done light tweaking, but it is really Far's preset. Part of why I am using it is that it is incredibly receptive to using the various lighting sliders as a shot-by-shot tweaking system, to really flesh out the ideal tones and lighting. I quite like the coupled SFX settings as well. Thanks Far
It's a project in theme. I plan to dive further into making more of my own ENB preset, one that provides very flat, high-latitude images for later post work, as I eventually have a machinima idea in mind. As I said though, the sort of balance Far struck is very conducive to what I'm trying to do now.

I was imagining that the .fx file would interact with various shaders and the way they introduce banding, such as distant fog and the DoF filter. Also, is this what you meant by problematic in the DoF? I find it to be one of the best systems I've seen in a game, if only for the fact that it realistically models aperture (aside from exposure). I only have a problem with how it introduces banding.
In comparison, the PES DoF is just a gaussian filter..

Re: TES Skyrim
Cloud layer at 80% opacity
An interesting result of the new cloud shadows is that by using the cloudfill band at full opacity and the right time of day and direct light setup you can get it to look like the sunlight breaks over the top of the mountains before illuminating the entire scene (shadowed part is darker than it would be to show the effect):

That is absolutely fantastic. It highlights the skewed scale of Skyrim's landscape a bit, but man how regal that is.Confidence-Man wrote:

Confidence-Man;
Thanks for the tip and again nice looking screens. You have really benefited from the cloud shadows effect.

Re: TES Skyrim
Hi friends!
I just saw this post today...
http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/10858676080
As much as I enjoy hacking EDIDs to get a 4k resolution. It looks like Steam is spoiling us and making things easy.
(The part about seeing 5120x2880 when using a 2560x1440 monitor does not work for me.) Let me know if you 1440p monitor owners have better luck.
Anyways, I encourage everyone to try taking some screenshots at 2x native resolution. you might find it addicting. Would be REALLY amazing to see some of your shots in 2160p or above!
I think you need to backup your current skyrim INI files and open the game from the SkyrimLauncher in order to see the new resolution options.
You likely need to be in Steam ONLINE mode as well...
BTW - @salt - Your config is looking awesome! I really like the last two shots! What mod is used for the snow on the roofs?

Doesn't work for me unfortunately. Also I'm pretty sure the snow on the roofs isn't a mod but an area in the Dragonborn DLC.far327 wrote:Hi friends!

Sorry bud, It should work. It seems to be a native option now!rashbeep wrote:

As a side note... If you uninstall STEAM, your entire game library is deleted without any option to save your game date. DOES THIS MAKES SENSE TO ANYONE? FUCKKKKKKK ME!!
