Re: TES Skyrim

@aiyen and Asgaard

Nice images, I enjoy the daytime lighting. Aiyen, perhaps make a video to demonstrate your 'bloom of doom'?? :)

And on that note...

Hi everyone! Here's a new 'tech demo' video for your consideration...

This video demonstrates ENB's image-based lighting (IBL) effect. Again, another effect that is only now beginning to appear in commercial video games. IBL is an effect where the scene is illuminated from above by the light from the sky. To oversimplify: a image of the sky is reflected onto the scene. IBL also has potenial applications for interior scenes, but the Skyrim ENB only uses this effect in exterior scenes with the sky.

Re: TES Skyrim

pastrana, nice shots! If I remember correctly you use K-enb pure light with COT. I have tried to combine them but I find very difficult to tame K-enb to a level that keep all the effects a bit more at ease :D
After editing some things in K-enb, (gradient's lights/curves), disabling/lowering volumetric ray's,) I also keep a short of white glow effect on shadows you seems to have take care off. Can you enlighten me what you have done to get ride off that white glow?

Re: TES Skyrim

Can people recommend a nice installation guide so I can maximize my graphical fun time? I want the best of the best textures and I want them ALL.

Re: TES Skyrim

I posted a list of recommended visual mods on my Skyrim Enhanced Shaders NLA ENB config page. For your convenience, I will copy here:

Here’s a list of most of the visual mods I use and recommend -- I'm sure I'm missing some great ones too, but oh well. Some of these mods have overlapping elements (i.e. more than one mod may texture the same item) so you may have to make some decisions … or if in doubt, just overwrite al! :)

Aiyen
Thanks! I have to admit I like simple things, contrast + color and stuff like that, the basics if you will :lol: I'm trying to shoot for a somewhat movie-like look, but having issues with exposure... Story of my life, haha.

Thanks for the list, very useful for us returnees. I can see many old-time favorites but also many new ones.

Thanks!
On these shots i used Kountervibe ENB NL (Kyo's extreme preset from Nexus) and i have exactly the same problem with CoT. I always try to find an angle of view, where there is no glow :D
