Nice, how do you get that light from above (?)in the shadow on the wall of that stucture, on the right? Is that IL (image based litghing?)

Also one question, how can man archieve certain night lighting, say more monochrome blue/white on the surface? Now my surface looks to much as a dimmed day colorpallete, while nights have traditional less colorvariation.

Re: TES Skyrim

Would anyone be able to recommend me a suitable mod that makes for a good ground cover texture (Forestground01.dds). That mostly makes up all the green of Skyrim like Riften as example please? I have the one I think from 4k Parallax, which is nice but slightly too powerful and dark green to blend in some places.

Parallax is a bonus but I can go without...
Natural/realistic colors and look, melts away so you forget it's even there...

Kind Regards

Re: TES Skyrim

Skinner - Yeah that's IBL.

As for the night lighting question you can try desaturating the image at night and using color filters to give everything a blue tint. For me I use only ambient light and IBL at night, so I color the ambient light blue in my plugin and the IBL will pull color from the sky (I also use a very slight blue color filter.)

Re: TES Skyrim

After viewing all the great work shown on these pages and learning a great deal over the last few years, I guess it's time to share a little of my work as well.

And now for a question. Is it possible to use the weather system to create different lighting setups based on interior cells. Like if I wanted to make a very different interior lighting for Dragonsreach and leave all other locations alone?
