Re: TES Skyrim

@Boris
Since few days, I use an SMAA injector in Ultra and I activate ONLY the "Sub Pixel AA" and the result is really really nice!! :)
And in the past, I NEVER USED the "TemporalAA" and "TransparencyAA"!! Just the "SubPixelAA" & "EdgeAA"!!

Re: TES Skyrim

The most useless effect is probably the transparency AA.
I have used RAIN's AA and love it. I also do prefer temporal AA but it has weird effects with low framerate and water.

Re: TES Skyrim

I personally don't know why some of you folks wanted Temporal aa to be removed. In my opinion, it is one of the best feature for screenshotting. I know it looks bad for gameplay, but deffinately not for still shots.

In my opinion, transparency aa is the one that should be removed. As it makes little difference and the performance hit are pretty big.

Re: TES Skyrim

I use all AA methods and there are still not enough if you don't downsample.

Re: TES Skyrim

I don't understand why Temporal AA should be removed. I am lucky that it is there. The other option would be no AA and that's because of my GPU limitation.

Re: TES Skyrim

I think enb rain. The reason i don't like it might because i havn't tried any enb's that makes enb rain look great yet.

Depth of Field, without a doubt. If i wanted my game to look a blurry mess i would play at 1080. Seriously, why use all that GPU processing power and spend all that time downloading textures to render beautiful looking scenery only to have it look like your monitor is made of frosted glass? Madness.

I've yet to see any screenshots of ENB rain that didn't look like glycerin dripping from the clouds. Rain doesn't look like that in the real world. Frankly, A good vanilla texture looks more realistic to me, with a rain mod like fadingsignal's True Storms.
