I have no idea what you mean by bright clamping, lol.

If using HD6's config as a base it's already enabled. Here's the setting from his config.

LenzReflectionIntensityDay=3.0
LenzReflectionIntensityNight=2.0
LenzReflectionPowerDay=2.0
LenzReflectionPowerNight=2.0

If I can't get it to pop for whatever reason I just lower reflection power. The higher that is the more light it seems to need to make it pop.

If you drop that too low though it will turn your hands white in first person, at least it does in my config.

Dorak seems to be the best person to ask about this so it would be nice if he shared his experience with us regarding this setting.

Re: TES Skyrim

I think he means that if you decrease brightness in the wrong place, the lens flare doesn't kick in, but I'm sure he'll chime in to correct if I'm wrong. I have a problem like that now that I'm not using ENB sky, I had to use CK to even get vanilla lens flare work, and even then, it's not that great. Oh well, I guess I will have to eventually try to fix the sky.

Since I don't want to be a party-pooper, here's a shot of Whiterun in the early morning sun:

Re: TES Skyrim

I didn't edited anything concerning lens flare. The " reflection " on the weapon wasn't intented at all, at the time. I was a " side effect " of the settings, if i can say that way.

Re: TES Skyrim

I just experienced a big slouch of the effect in T.A.Z.'s config. WHOOMP! during bright day, running towards the sun, and very noticeable near the boss in Terminus Est using vanilla T.A.Z. Try it out.
I didn't screenshot it, silly me.

Re: TES Skyrim

@dorianGREY: Nice shots, although I've changed quite a lot again, so it's looks significantly different now :D. I'm amazed how colorful your shots look, I mean the setting were supposed to be quite saturated, but it never looked that way on my system. I guess you have configured your gfx drivers to get more vibrant colors?

Anyway, if you guys are interested I can upload a new test version with a lot of tweaking done to it, but it will take me 1 or 2 days as I'm having a big test tomorrow and I will be celebrating afterwards.
Anyway as always, nice work everyone and keep it up!

@midhras: what do you mean by "I just experienced a big slouch of the effect in T.A.Z.'s config"? I can't seem to figure out what exactly you mean by this :D (I'm not a native speaker by the way) EDIT: Forget it I figured it out, I'm still a bit confused, dind't get much sleep last night :D
And I suppose you're refering to the lens reflection effect?

Re: TES Skyrim

That's what I meant, T.A.Z. Good luck on your test; looking forward to your next config.
UW, that last shot is simply stellar.
