Re: TES Skyrim
@saltr
I am not yet ready for my next glorious playthrough. I am expecting to be finished with modding this upcoming winter, or maybe even next spring... There are still lots of mods that i need to add and edit. I will probably end up with a list of 900+ mods active at once, or maybe even more than 1000... I have a few friends on Twitch (H8Cr1me, Ning999, Policman and Argo) who are true experts on modding Skyrim and they thought me a lot. The guys are using 700 - 900 mods with a pretty stable games. I believe i have surpassed their knowledge and skills by now, except maybe Ning999, its really hard to keep up with him. Anyway, with the mod lists so huge, TES5Edit and CK are necessary to edit mods and to maintain compatibility between them. When i am completely done with modding, i may upload everything i am using on some of the torrent sites with detailed installation instructions and proper priority and load orders of all the mods. I have seen people doing this.
Screenshots are taken at 3200x1800 resolution. A bit lower resolution than usual but they still look sharp and i am pretty satisfied. 3200x1800 is the resolution i am playing/testing the game. Getting around 32-35fps in exteriors and 40-45 fps in interiors with pretty heavy overclocked 980Ti and i7 6700K. Very playable for me. Btw, i am getting constant 60fps on 1920x1080 and 2560x1440 resolutions. i7 6700K proved to be better for heavily modded Skyrim than any other CPU on the market.
One more thing to say. I am stopping my work on "Fantasy Vision ENB" because i simply dont have enough time for tweaking all the individual weathers and without the multiple weather support, ENB's in general look like crap. It was a heavily tweaked Seasons of Skyrim ENB designed for ELE Weathers. It was highly influenced by older version of Electric ENB by electricsheep26354. For now, i am sticking with Dahaka's ENB which looks brilliant.

Re: TES Skyrim
Hey Strix2206, That looks awesome ! I'm currently also mixing and matching multiple grass mods. Would it be possible to share your grass tweak files? Thanks in advance!

@Pfuscher
That mountain texture looks like the one from Superior Rock Textures (light gray 4k).
My personal favorite however is Northfire's Photoreal Mountains.
@Strix2206
You're a perfectionist like me, aren't you? . Dedicated to building the perfect game and with the patience to do so. Although I don't think I'm going to use as many mods as you, 900 is staggering! Some of the edits you're doing with weathers/image spaces/enb settings I'm leaving to the likes of Confidence Man and Rudy with his "Rudy Enb" (which looks amazing).
Q: have you tried the mod "Verdant"? It combines stuff from SFO, Unique Grasses, and I believe one more mod. I'm going to give it a go when I start as it seems the nicest and most complete flora mod on the nexus.
And btw thanks for the SFO LOD texture.

Northfire's look good despite being 2k and lacking a blue normal map channel

Re: TES Skyrim
Well I don't know much about normal maps and I'm only 1080p so 2k mountains are good enough for me . A good second option are Vivid Landscapes' rocks, but his 4k texture looks like an enhanced 2k. Superior Rock Textures are very good too.Pfuscher wrote:Northfire's look good despite being 2k and lacking a blue normal map channel

Re: TES Skyrim
Mountain's UV maps are so bad, they stretch mountain textures down to 1k or less at some points. So you easily see the difference between 4k and 2k textures

@Pfuscher
Mountains are from Superior Rock Textures - Hiqh Quality HD 4K light grey version. Not satisfied with them... I still prefer Improved Vanilla Mountains HD by rgabriel15.
@HowlingWolve
Thanks for the kind words. Give me your email address and i will upload them to you.
@KnightOwl
I tried Verdant grass and it doesnt look bad, but it lacks diversity. I am using several grasses from Verdant in my grass tweaks.
I was watching the NVIDIA GeForce 2016 Liveblog today and Jen-Hsun Huang represented the new Pascal GTX 1080 and 1070. I am not totally impressed by GTX 1080 and i feel like this is going to be a small jump in performance when compared to Titan X and 980Ti. Performance jump should be at least 30% to be enough for me to upgrade. I guess we should wait for GTX 1080Ti or a new Titan...
Here are a few random shots i took today while i was testing my current mod setup. Downsampled from 3200x1800 resolution.
