Re: TES Skyrim

We need a list with stuff that isn't working anymore in SE.
Effects that are new and better in SE.
Stuff Boris can/will add to SE and stuff that Boris won't add.
Then a petition to Bethesda to get that stuff.
I let you pros edit that list, I don't want a SE that has better performance, but overall looks worse in some departments.

Re: TES Skyrim

I think a lot of people use creative styles such as noise or enb's presets like Somber to cover up a lot of mesh and textures flaws.

Don't get me wrong, I used Somber for years till I went to a more clear look. Once you use a crisp enb setting you realize a lot of textures are garbage. For me, using noise or these settings only mask the issues instead of fixing them. But I have never liked the trend of stylized enbs, besides Somber, Very old v.100's Snapdragon. I guess I am still stuck in the Seasons, Vivid a.k.a "clear enb" days of modding. I try not to cover up crappy textures, but replace them and edit the color curves to fit my presets.

But to each his/her own. Best thing about Skyrim is you can do whatever you like with it.

Cheers!
