Re: TES Skyrim

Actually night photography lighting is not always the same, even in skyrim the clouds affects lighting
considering the brightess of the moon and sky overall, if it were a real shot the mountains would be well lit too in this case
see this example http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6208/6081 ... 443f_z.jpg
Not saying I don't like the look of it

Re: TES Skyrim

Hi all
I follow this forum since the beginning, while i was trying to understand how to configure all these parameters. :twisted:
I modified enbeffect.ini, enbseries.ini and customized my own palette.
My goal was to achieve a realistic/fantasy style.
there no post color/corrections, only enb 102 and a bit of reframing sometimes...

comments and crits are welcome

there's my settings

Not quite. The thing with photography is that you have to account for the settings used for the camera itself, i.e. did they use a really high ISO, a really high/slow shutter time, etc. That particular shot is using a pretty extreme setting for the sky to be that bright.

My references are more along the line of this, or this.

Also, considering it's a pretty dark moon (less than an eighth of it is lit), there's not going to be a whole lot of reflected light to go around.

Is there any way to use more than one additional dll? Right now I'm using d3d9.dll (the base one for ENB) as well es d3d9_fx.dll (some color correction stuff) and I'd like to add the SMAA-one to that as well... is that possible?
So does anyone know how to use more than one .dll?
The answer has already been posted :) The [PROXY] bit is inside enbseries.ini
far327 wrote:Should be something like this...

[PROXY]
EnableProxyLibrary=false (Change this to true)
InitProxyFunctions=true
ProxyLibrary=other_d3d9.dll (Change this to the exact file name of the d3d9.dll that you are using as a secondary - i.e. SMAA injector)

*NOTE I believe you have to rename the d3d9.dll file that comes with SMAA to something else. *EXAMPLE - SMAAd3d9.dll

So this line - ProxyLibrary=other_d3d9.dll
Should look like - ProxyLibrary= SMAAd3d9.dll

All of the files that are included with the SMAA download just go in the same location as your TESV.exe
OK, this is a little misunderstanding...I mean 3 .dlls
Didn't think of the main one (d3d9.dll).

So to put it right: So does anyone know how to use more than one additional .dll?

I would have to agree that the photo posted by Zyrusticae is far from representative of what the human eye would see in this environment. Go outside at night sometime and look around. It's pretty damn dark, even under a full moon on a clear night.

If you look at the info for the first video he explains what settings he's using.

Not really. Black crushes everywhere and the bloom is so damn high you can even see it shining on the grass ( especially the tip, nearly white, and the small flowers, white too because of the bloom ). The whole thing looks like he's in a misty nuclear dream or something.

People have to stop with this " realism " business. Skyrim will never be realist. Just deal with it and make settings that you like.
