I see you are owner of GTX670, how is it? From tech specifications it must be very fast for ssao.

I came from an AMD HD6950 so its like a whole new world of performance for me... and smoothness, as I would always have stuttering before, but no more.

Running SSAO through the nV CP set to 'Quality' loses me around 5fps compared to having it turned off, through EnB fast mode even less, and the frame rate in general will be between 35fpt - 60fps... I would dip into the teens on my old card and that was not approaching the same sort of IQ.

I'm also running various HD textures and 'Glorious Grass' which can really chew into the frame rates, so I'm delighted with it so far.

This pic, with Fraps running show the fps with TV_ENB's SSAO 1680x1050 4xAA + FXAA... lots of grass makes a good test, but I don't know how this compares to last gen nV cards.

Re: TES Skyrim

Hey, Boris?

I was wondering if, after you're finished the sun rays, that you could try implementing a motion blur effect?

I don't even know if that's possible, and, even then, if it's possible to achieve a motion blur as smooth as this:

But I really do love motion blur, and thought I would go ahead and ask.

I had to register to tell all of you that I'm really impressed by all your affords.

The screenshots are gorgeos.
You do a great work Boris (although you don't like ti hear this all the time :-P)

@T.A.Z:

Are you willing to share your settings for .112 already?

I like to try it with all the Mods I installed like the S.T.E.P tells to do :-)

I also regognized you are located in germany T.A.Z so: Vielleicht könnte man sich auch auf deutsch unterhalten :-P

Re: TES Skyrim

@Boris
i just realized that fast timer firing from the outside is problematic for Skyrim in Windowed Mode (Process Explorers low timers cause it to brake up on every fire). I guess this can get problematic with a lot more Software from the outside that uses low timers, people should be aware of this, this shouldn't happen though, not used to this from CryEngine :D

@DogStar
looks good though 34 fps for that powerhorse, could you turn grass shadows of and see how that impacts it ?

It's hard to understand what you mean. Query performance counter or what?

Yes but im not sure whats going on, there is no stutter with Process Hacker but when using Process Explorer the Rendering stutters every query (1s).

@Gionight
Nice ones i like that Poser look and feel of your ENB :)

I have a GTX580, but i know a lot of hardware.
skyrim needs a very powerfull CPU, more than graphic card.
I have a i5 2500K, at his stock clocks, (3.3ghz) the game don´t runs fine, mostly under 30fps, sometimes at 60fps, but very inestable framerate.
with a moderate overclock (4.5ghz) i never goes below 35fps, even with ultra shadows, high quality SSAO, grass shadows...etc, at 1920x1080 and MSAAx2+SMAA
the GTX670 is 40% faster than mine.
but this athlon will limits a lot to a gtx670, is posible that no sees any change, or a very low change
