Re: Dragon's Dogma
Hey guys, I gave up trying to use some of the ENBs in the nexus, my 970 can't handle the majority of them above 40fps in 1440p.
Installed the "vanilla" ENB 0.300 to see how it performs and I'm very happy, good performance, 40-45fps in no wood areas and improved and still vanilla visuals. The only thing bothering me are the skylight shadows. They are too dark, I barely see if there are a enemy in the shadows of a tree in the noon, even if I'm under the tree. What parameter I change to make it more brighter? Or better yet, there are any option to make the ENB mimic the pupil adaptation to light? Darken the shadows if you are in the sun light and brighten the shadows if you are in the shadow, making the area under the sun nearly blinding?
Sorry if my question have been answered already, but I'm new in the ENB process, I have only used reshade yet, and only to apply a little sharpness in my games.

Re: Dragon's Dogma
Brightness adaptation is disabled in enbeffect.fx, because game nights must be dark and i don't have time to tweak adaptation parameters to separate night and interiors from other times of the day.
AmbientMinLevel*** parameters under [SKYLIGHTING] affect what you need to adjust.

Re: Dragon's Dogma
I've been using a separated adaptation, seems to work fine at keeping nights dark.

Your screens are superb. Hope your preset don't kill the performance too much. :mrgreen:Confidence-Man wrote:I've been using a separated adaptation, seems to work fine at keeping nights dark.
I think I'm doing something wrong.ENBSeries wrote:Brightness adaptation is disabled in enbeffect.fx, because game nights must be dark and i don't have time to tweak adaptation parameters to separate night and interiors from other times of the day.

Changed the values in small increments, nothing changed. Changed in bigger increments, still nothing. Did the changes in-game and direct in the txt file and still no difference. Shadows very dark no matter what values I put in the parameters.
Tried changing the DarkeningAmount* parameters, and still no visual effect.
I think I need new eyes them.

Re: Dragon's Dogma
If it's skylighting at all, then probably time of the day is not what you tweaking or weather system parameters used (but default preset have IgnoreWeatherSystem=true).

Re: Dragon's Dogma
It was the IgnoreWeather option that I have put to true. Now it's working.ENBSeries wrote:If it's skylighting at all, then probably time of the day is not what you tweaking or weather system parameters used (but default preset have IgnoreWeatherSystem=true).
Thank you. :mrgreen:

blackdragon, open enbseries.ini in each ENB you try and change the following lines to the following values.
SizeScale=0.25
SourceTexturesScale=0.5 or .25
