Re: TES Skyrim
@Quest: The thread you posted is from Gionight. Some post ago he told he won't release his config.
I'm sad about this, but I understand his reason. Loyalty and to keep a promise are virtues.
@fedorrrz:
Thanks for the RCRN-Setup. Added 3 random shots. (CTRL-Click to view HD)
Have a look at that framerate.
I'm using RCRN 3.1 (or is it 3.0.1? / maybe i forgot to set legacy mode)
And the enb settings you posted few posts above.
Hello??? I start crying when my hardware I bought especially for skyrim is only able to view this with about 8 FPS (in words: eight)
Any idea what I could have done wrong?
EDIT:
Forgot some details:
Resolution 1920x1080;
ingame AA 0, AF 16
AMD CCC 2x MSAA, 16x AF

Re: TES Skyrim
@cyberghost66: Well, don't know man what can be wrong with your system - your specs are alright as far as I can tell... try EnableAmbientOcclusion=false, and DetailedShadowQuality=1 or 2 in your enbseries.ini... All AA must be off, except of ingame FXAA.
About RCRN - I use this one: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... s/?id=7689
And if nothing helps you always can reinstall the game and try it clean with RCRN and ENB only... without any other stuff.

@cyberghost66
A 7850 should be fine with skyrim, though I know some ATI users have had problems in the past (back when I was with ATI I had a large multitude of problems especially with using Skyrim with ENB, and also Skyrim in general)
I'm running the same config Fedorrrz posted and I have a solid 50fps at 1920x1080 with a GTX 580 1.5gb

Re: TES Skyrim
Dpeasant: Love the sharp, dark colors and dof is fantastic (well everything in general). Also, what Windhelm mod is that in your last few shots on the other page?
TheRadikal: Great job, really like the Riften and wood mill Cinema shots (I just tend to prefer darker tones--but love all the options and looks just think it suits my preferences best).
Obblivion: Love the look of your enb as well as way shots were taken.
Trillville: Love TV... just looks fantastic in all its different versions (granted newest is definitely top of the list).
Bright night test (too bright for me so going to tweak--I like the dark but not going to go as crazy as last ones as kind of like the added detail).

Re: TES Skyrim
@fedorzzz + Plywood:
I'm using MOD-Organizer, so my data folder shouldn't be messed up.
I tested a bunch of ENB, fxaa and/or smaa setups. I have about 6 different dll-files in the skyrim folder by now.
I will do a clean install when I'm at home again. Maybe this helps.
I will also disable all AA ingame and the driver settings.
I also installed a lot of texture mods (those from the S.T.E.P. Guide). I don't know if this is to much for my system?!
Maybe the problem is from Skyrim Version 1.6 also, as it installed at the same time as the settings I got from you, fedorzz.
I'll report my test results, when I was able to do them.
Code: Select all
My Rig:
Board: ASRock Z68 Pro3 Gen3
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K @ 3.30GHz
Ram: 8,00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)
GPU: Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7850 OC Edition
Everything running on Factory Default
