Thanks DogStar, and I agree - the snow stuff is very difficult to get right especially without breaking everything else. I'm also now hell-bent on using ENB adaptation which I guess adds insult to injury...
Cool screens you too, I have to say I've pretty much become affected to your style of running, standing or doing something else with your character in your screens, groovy stuff
I'm still to check out vurt's update, but looks great. By the way, attached is a 50% desaturated vanilla tundra shrub for those who might prefer vanilla.
Johnny5srv, not really - but I guess I haven't been following the latest happenings that much. Truth be told there seem to be certain trends that come and go which I guess is why similar stylings seem to pop up frequently.

Yeah, I think I broke adaptation with my strange values, but I seem stuck with them now as it kinda works... it a tough one to get right with it working as it should.mindflux wrote:Thanks DogStar, and I agree - the snow stuff is very difficult to get right especially without breaking everything else. I think my character is in training for the Skyrim Olympics he always seems to be running somewhere or another... think of them as landscapes with some prat getting in the way
BTW do you know what pine branches you use ( same for Opeth and Unreal) as you guys seem to have much fine structure than mine... I tried a few but can't seem to get this look, which I like; mine are more blobby, esp at moderate distances.

Perfect the Skylightning is one of the most realistic ones the Ambients shininess is great like in Real Life, how does other modders work like Raining mods work out with it ? (Real Rain; More Rain ect) and how does Vanilla Rain looks
and how does 15:00, 18:00 and 20:00 look
It feels partly even better then Yebis HDR http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FckrHG_H7M http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlRgPvsQKYQ
could you make a TOD overview use the console "set timescale to 8000" and capture the per Day/Region conditions in a fast rundown.
Is this a SkyrimClear weather Type or the DefaultWeather ?

Thanks Opethfeldt... I've stripped out all my tree mods and it does look far better for it, though I've added Lush Trees to fill-out the branch density.Opethfeldt wrote: Dogstar: Im using vanilla texture for pine.
And some more wonderful captures from you

Re: TES Skyrim
Thanks Opethfeldt, I really like your stuff aswell. Love the realism you've achieved.
Two screenshots of the new reworked skycolors, not sure if they're still a bit to cyan though.

Re: TES Skyrim
Even though i liked some things in my previous setts more, I decided to change them. The main reason was fucked up textures and ssao, with heavy contrasted shadows i had dark textures looke dirty and ssao was either unnoticible or black, making grass look like shit. Hopefully, ill balance everything.

Re: TES Skyrim
Fixed palette contrast and returned my favourite colours back. Colours remind me of my deus ex enb set up though. I think that im mostly done with the interior lighting, though there are dozens of unvisited places lest for now, many of them dont use global imagespace\lighting presets, so they still may look like shit with my setts. On to weather editing then.
