Re: TES Skyrim

I, too, would like to point out that those latest screenshots from Mindflux are quite possibly the most realistic realtime graphics I've ever seen. The same goes for Unreal's pics (youtube video encoding does them no good, though, as all the details are lost)

Re: TES Skyrim

Welcome, and nice shots Mani :) Well after another reinstall, I think I finally have a nice build going on that isn't crashing on me every 5 minutes. I have almost 100 mods going and it's actually pretty awesomely balanced with Monster Mod, Monster Wars, and ASIS as a base.

So here is my new char. They said he was too scrawny, too Irish to be the Dragonborn but Mel here will prove them all wrong..

Re: TES Skyrim

So been working on a new ENB, heres some SS; but have the dreaded 'White Mountains' issue (have day bloom at 1.65); lowering bloom and compensating with direct lighting and indirect lighting does not give me the desired effect.... distant stuff dosn't look that great... need help!! Although its only one or two weathers that have the issue; I'd rather have a perfect ENB

Re: TES Skyrim

So I've been fiddling around with the actual ENB files (not just the customizer), and I've actually gotten somewhere! But I still can't get the blue-ish lighting.
Here's the preset:http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?dmn2x5bebhllyqu

Re: TES Skyrim

Hey, thanks Mani :) I hadn't seen these textures before. I've just given them a try and think they look pretty good; certainly different.

Thanks, I appreciate.

Damn, that's quite a compliment there. I too would like realistic lighting, but it's proving pretty tough to realize because of the limitations of the game engine and (mostly) my skills. Thanks for the encouragement, there's certainly one more reason to keep working. And of course all thanks go to Boris for his ENB, we all know how Skyrim looks no matter how much you tinker with the CK.

DogStar
Do I sense a little jab there? :P It's coming, but first I probably need to rework pretty much everything, ha. Cool screens as always - good to see you back on the saddle.

Just saw your latest screens with the brown rock texture, and I have to say it goes really well with your setup.

Regarding the distant bloom, tough call. Which bloom are using, HD6? If you don't want to use the CK to edit the weather template, I guess you could try to either decrease ambient lighting intensity or increase ambient lighting curve to darken the distant terrain a bit. Also perhaps try to increase bloom contrast and see if it helps. The screens are looking good.

Mani
Welcome aboard, gorgeous stuff.
