@Kali- Hey your new config is looking pretty fantastic! After running around with it for a bit I can give you some impressions. I love the overall feel and I really like the color balance, which for me is a huge part of great enb. Only a couple of things I noticed. The biggest issue was the sky, as it seemed to me too dark during the day and it doesn't seem to blend with the rest of the brightness of the daytime. I used to have this same deal with my config but I eventually did a complete overhaul to my skies and went pretty big with it. I actually copied over my entire sky setup to your config and it mixed perfectly. I didn't even have to adjust the FogColorMultiplier etc.. which you almost always have to do when you do that so I thought that was pretty cool. The only other thing is probably just a matter of taste but I thought the lensflare was a bit much and for me takes away from the rest of the config. Also, I think your specular settings are pretty interesting and is making me take another look at my settings, particularly the interior specular gives the config a unique look. All in all I really love the config and the adaptation stuff is really cool as well.
As for my config, I still can't seem to let go of HD6's code but I would love to try the newer post process 2 code that separates night/day/interior but I just can't seem to get it looking like I wan't so i am sticking with PP 5. I think I will attach my current config later today in a post if anyone would like to test it out and give any feedback. I am really happy with my nights and interiors but I'm not sold on my days. Also, if anyone has any good ways to keep your nights dark without totally darkening rainy weather, I am all ears.
Going to double post so my pics don't make reading this post a pain...

Same here. Prob had it for almost 2 years as well. I had some issues with my mobo bios (Asus P67) But after the last two updates all issues with solid state devices have cleared up. Honestly, I blame mobo manufacturers support for solid state devices. SSD tech is solid in my opinion.thepointis wrote:Running OCZ Revodrive X2 for few years now without a single flaw. I also used to be a heavy Folder@Home. It's about investment, and a bit of luck of course.
EDIT:
@Lauren - Love your scenic shots. Your lighting and foliage/trees look amazing. Could you please tell me what grass/trees mods and enb preset you are using?
@Metaliacid - Really really love your shots! Especially interested in your male skin textures. Could you please share which mod they are from?
Thanks all

Good to see you with us, dpeasant. As always, gorgeous screens.
Damn, what a waste. I spent much time to get the direct sunlight looking good with the stupid vanilla glare disabled, but no go - the sun just looks like poo on a cloudless sky no matter what I do. I guess I have experiment more with the sun texture itself. I also finally gave in and decided to lose most of the different kinds of bloom as they're impossible to control in the varying weather conditions without making the whole climate terribly inconsistent. Well, at least the LOD stuff looks somewhat decent, I think.
Yes, the volumetric fog is sadly gray...

shaping up pretty nicely in my opinion. I like the mood you're going for. Don't let some f* HDD take you down, keep it up lad!

what a tease! If you pull that off, it'll will be one of the most memorable additions to ENB for sure.
