Re: Dragon's Dogma
Tried it and have same result as my several previous attempts to run both ENB and Reshade = failcicala wrote: If you are talking about the banding I have made a preset to fix that and add debanding, but also improve nights and shadows
download from nexus, you need Reshade and ENB downloads [required] installation intructions = http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/10/
If i put InitProxyFunctions= true game crashes if its empty or false reshade doesn't load at all.

Re: Dragon's Dogma
Hi, I've found a very interesting thing.
When I first installed the game it was extremely stuttering even at super low settings. This morning I found a post on steam where someone put the game on windows 7 compatibilty mode and that did the trick. Bum!! There I was running at solid 60fps all on max on my old faithfull GTX670.
So I thought "time for an ENB". But then, stuttering (a lot less) again.
And here is the thing: when I shift+enter to disable some stuff the game was running smooth like a silk again!!!
If I keep the editor window open, even minimized, the game runs great! Is there anything that could be adjusted somehow in order to fix the stuttering without the need of the windows? Looks like something about overlays of sorts. I've disabled steam overlay but no change.
FYI: I've downloaded some Skyrims presets on nexus and they work great with the game.
Thanks

It's internal game issues with multithreading, render thread fighting for cpu time with something else. I have very huge fps loss at some angles with mod enabled, but without any effects. Also could be that game trying to use vsync or lock to 30 fps instead of 60 if frame rate is lower than desired. I'll search in that direction later.

Damn you Boris :-)
Oh no... This is the worst thing that could happen right now. I was just getting clean from my Skyrim ENB addiction..
I absolutely LOVE dragons dogma, and played a huge amount of hours on my PS3. I was ecstatic to get it on PC yesterday, and already made a cool ReShade config, and thought to myself, ReShade took 12 minutes to do, DONE! Now play the game. And now ENB for Dragons Dogma, Damn you Boris! I really need to control myself now...
Ok, I'll download the ENB, and have ONE look... Just one...

Re: Dragon's Dogma
Follow instructions on my mod page [+dl], and it will work, otherwise the reason behind it not working is entirely held up on your end by another conflict.devileyebg wrote:Tried it and have same result as my several previous attempts to run both ENB and Reshade = failcicala wrote: If you are talking about the banding I have made a preset to fix that and add debanding, but also improve nights and shadows

I have no idea why this crash occurs I have seen in early reshade versions, for my preset I use this in the proxy
Code: Select all
[PROXY]
EnableProxyLibrary=true
InitProxyFunctions=
ProxyLibrary=rs_d3d9.dll
