Re: TES Skyrim

Hey all

I'm super new here and to the whole modding thing, but im really interested and have a thirst for learning. I've actually been lurking these forums for a while and reading as much as I can about modding. I started by using the nvidia ini. file guide and managed to up the quality without my fps suffering too much

I'm using a 560ti, latest nvidia drivers and i7930. Also the beta update for skyrim.

When I tried installing and running ENB, started with geo and tried HD6, I got a game breaking occurence in both versions. The screen would go super white whenever i turned the mods on and my fps would drop to 0.

I'm using a few other mods in NMM like XCE, triss armor, fps limiter and better females, skyUI and tytanis

Any suggestions at all would be great,

Hi
May be it's because you forced antialiasing in drivers or in game? Unfortunately almost all users saying that it's not working properly (and only for me, with old drivers it's ok).

For noise effect open effect.txt from blursharpshift effect. Find line //#define ENOISE and remove "//" at the beginning. NoiseAmount parameter in there control amount of noise. But noise is in sharpening shader, so at least blur and sharpening must to be active. I can rewrite it, but in practice both fx giving better result to simulate movie then any single one. The only trick is to apply another noise before blurring, it gives a bit different style, but it's another story.

Current versions can't use motion blur. It will be implemented in future, i hope. The problem to do it now is to get somewhere requred vectors in 3d space (can't touch process memory for that).

Thanks Boris :D

Postitboy go to your skyrim preferences file and change the following to one.

bFloatPointRenderTarget=1

Re: TES Skyrim

Hey guys, I've been having a problem lately I was wondering if anyone might know a solution to.

The past few enb settings I've tried (techuser, confidence-man, and pmind) all either cause Skyrim to hang on the first loading page forever, or cause it to run at >5fps when I have indirectlighting=true. I've used a bunch of different peoples enb settings with ambient occlusion fully on and it not effect my performance at all. Has something changed in the .103 that could cause this? I haven't really changed anything, just all of a sudden indirect lighting breaks my game.

I'm using a Radeon 6970, an intel i7 2600k OC'd to 4.6ghz, and 8gbs of ram. I know Radeons don't handle AO as well, but I haven't had this problem up until recently. Just wish I could find a solution so I could use you guys's newer configs, they all look so good.

Thanks in advanced.

Funny enough, when i reduced AA to 4 instead of 8 (skyrim loader) the problem cleared up...its so strange because i had an enb running before with AA at 8...maybe i messed something up in my ini files? I reverted my nvidia setting and the nvidia inspector back to default and copied back my backup skyrim.ini and prefs.ini, changed bfloatpointrendertarget=1 and still it white screens at 8 AA. Possibility of it being the new beta update? I'll try reverting to the old patch and see what happens
