A few tweaks to the Ambient Occlusion and Bloom here and there, haha. I tweak the config that much I rarely remember half the changes I make. I only keep a changelog by request, lol.

I think I'm still running on Ultra settings aswell.

Re: TES Skyrim

Hi EvoFq3o0,

i saw that ur char is in a custom outfit. it is pretty cool looking as it is, and original.

Did you make this yourself. I hope that i can offer some sugggestion about the clothes.
My own experience has been pain with texturing so i can relate to it.
I did not make armor since 2 years ago so i hope i am not missing my memory

so anyway u got a moire artifacts on the back. if u got mipmaping and af on then u might try to add grime to it. grime like stains and color irregularity of fibers in material.
I am not sure if it will fix cause i havent experienced the problem, seen it before tho but its worth a try. it could have something to do with compression and compressability of a texture.
grime may enhance realisticness in your perception?

there is a uv seam apparent on strap going up. amyway i think it is where u might place a uv seam. ok its not so easy to do straps like that it can be helped by manualy adjusting the edge normals of that junction.

Ok that is all with any bugs ur skinnings looking good in anims posted. except for the under arms and. if it were me i would enlarge arm holes maybe a more revealing look also.

What i think would look good enhancement...

How about fraying on edges? this can be made with alpha channel on ur diffuse map, unless its different now in skyrim. u get added detail like individual threads that fray out with no geometry cost.
with alpha channel like this u will want to be using dxt5 compression anyway the dx1 one will destroy i think.
Also with nifskope u gotta add alpha property to the parts with transparency just compare with another skyrim nif for details.

more wrinkles on cloth also is good u can get that from making the shape of wrinkles or with normal map. sculpting and bake with xnormal is ur best way. the results for 2d image normalmap filters are only reasonable with a small details i think.

Anyway please forgive my forwardness of this, it was just the artifact that got me really thinking about it and i decided to post about it.

Re: TES Skyrim

Hi Baduk, I'm afraid it isn't mine, Just one that I found on nexus :)

I really appreciate your effort in helping me, but sadly it's wasted on me as I have no Knowledge of modelling etc.

Thank you for the thought though :D

Re: TES Skyrim

There's a bug I've seen with the reflection settings that can cause a similar effect on some armours. Try disabling Reflections and see if it disappears.

Awesome man! I know you're not one to brag, but I'm curious what model vid card you decided on?

Thank you! I appreciate your kind words, although I decided to start over because I got bored trying for a realistic look. Coincidentally I saw your screenshots on the nexus and tried out your config, it is even more amazing in motion. Very good work! I liked it so much that I am trying your enbseries.ini settings as a base for a more artistic preset that I am trying to work on, I hope that is okay! Your had a very good idea with your sky settings IMO :)
I'm flattered actually. :) Always nice to feel appreciated, am I right? That is the fun of sharing configs. No reason to hoard beauty. What you're creating is pretty unique. So far all of your screenshots resemble paintings, which is a new style I don't remember seeing on this thread, or at least I haven't noticed.

Have you managed to try downsampling with my config yet? would love to see it :) and lovely shots, from your far off enb, would it be possible to try your dof please :)

Ahh, I see... So correct me if I'm wrong, but do you lack sunshine in England? I'm wondering if some of use create ENB configs to resemble a place we'd prefer to live... I live in the hot desert in Arizona. I wish I could live in a state with rain, fog and overcast skies. :P

EDIT - I posted a bunch of cloud pic on my blog - http://faroffmods.wordpress.com/2013/03/09/clouds/ ‎ Hoping to get them into Skyrim. Anyone have experience with editing weather textures?
Here is an example thumbnail of a shot I took yesterday...

EvoFq3o0

hi ok i cant really go over and start trying to help armor and clothing modds at the moment. it will overflow me.

About ur retexture project yes im serious it is never too late to start urself.

anyway other think i can think of is uv map distortion but this is not likely considering the placement.
yea try what unreal_war said and maybe. it would be easy. i think most bugs is not related to enb tho.

With enb maybe there is a bug inside my own head that prevents me to overlook a flaw in the scene.

XFX R7950 3gb Black Edition.

I had to RMA it the same day I got it but when it was working it was pretty beastly.

Here's hoping to a longer lifetime on the replacement!
