Re: Dark Souls 2

Hm,this game does'n seem to have great difference for 1440p vs 1080p in something that visually worth..:

(dom't know why but igmur auto resized them from 2560x1440 to 2559x1439  )

The difference is clarity on visuals is small to worth, the loss for my PC is from locked-all-the-time 60 fps(V-sync ofc) to 48-50 fps.

I could never get Aldia's Keep to look nice. But it looks pretty sweet here.

Re: Dark Souls 2

Someone asked me to make some comparison shots. I did two quick ones. They're not well-composed, but they do show a bit what my ENB+SFX combo does. Not too much, but enough. Now to fine-tune. Oh, I forgot to turn off the DOF effect, which makes the comparison harder. The settings for it weren't great either. Just ignore.

There's two different comparisons there. Mouseover to see the vanilla shot.

Re: Dark Souls 2

Yeah, that fog area pretty much is impossible to play with ENB. At some point we're going to have to urge Boris to find it and try to find a solution.

Re: Dark Souls 2

People that turn off AO won't like that, wickfut. It's basically an AO test the way you have it set up there. Better than what I'm looking at by far though. I'm really hoping that whatever causes bloom to overreact there is a texture that can be modded out.

Another thing that bugs me is that we can't limit AO rendering as we can in Skyrim and Fallout using the FadeFogRange parameter. I really wanted to have close but not distant AO in this shot. It kind of screws up the distant tower (no I don't know what it is yet, I'm not that far in the game).
