Re: TES Skyrim SE

I don't know which other puddles do you talking about, never seen any.
About light, it's how game water is made. Not sure should i even bother remove that, people will complain about other water which share same shader (those streams in Whiterun do have the same).

Re: TES Skyrim SE

In regards to animation and other properties, those things come from the water material that the puddles use and using CK you can pretty much make it look anything you want to.

I doubt the clipping can be completely fixed as long as the puddles do not follow the base mesh. They are planar when the base mesh has more complex topology, have different rotation (probably in Pfuscher's screenshot) and so on.

You can see a few frozen puddles at the windhelm market for example. Others are in dungeons, but that would be the quickest go to.

Re: TES Skyrim SE

Finally got free time to check Windhelm. I dont see puddles, just terrain shader with fake reflection, which are part of it. And some road stones with alpha test and alpha blend after that, which can't be fixed by depth comparison.

Re: TES Skyrim SE

Would it be possible to get screen space reflections on just the weapon and armor folders, using the specular map as strenght indicator?
Or maybe some other places to use?

Re: TES Skyrim SE

If you ask about first person, technically possible, but it's difficult, requires many things to be done, not just ssr itself. Btw, it's screenshots thread.
