Re: TES Skyrim

Btw does somebody know if some of the new Updates to Skyrim included Physics Performance improvements as Havok demonstrated themselves how unoptimized MT was partly implemented in their old pipeline that currently drives Skyrim (Creation Engine), i wonder if Bethesda is going to update this Part or maybe already did ?

Personally I am not using Race Menu mod and don't see any rezones to use it.
From my experience, it didn't help me creating chars that much , but it was such a crash fest.

Yeah Crysis 3 wasn't that bad but it's too restricted for my taste, GTA 5 is a very long wait but my main most anticipated game is MGS 5, after this year GDC presentation Kojima and his team just blow everyone else away .
The main reason I am coming back to Skyrim, there is nothing interesting right now in a gaming world going on, at least for me.

Re: TES Skyrim

I would already see 1 very useful use for this fixing optical issues with the Camera and Model proportions under certain situations :)

though i didn't saw some slider for the hand scale actually which would be hyper usefull in this regard, also skin tone selection that will heavily impact my work and iteration cycles

Yep Kojimas team goes the newest approach like many other Japanese Engines do , though Fox Engine has still limits even if their whole PBL Framework is very well done :)
Squares Appraoch is more defined imho and they have some heavy resources @ hand and most important parts smoke Kojimas teams work away currently :)

What really itches me (and is absolutely wrong) is that neither of both we PC users will ever see in a PC Game

Gionight;

Oh ok I can understand that at least I got a glimpse of them and the mudcrab picture made me really want to use DoF again :P Never been much of a fan of DoF use except in pictures meant to be artistic and not based on gameplay, more or less. I don't try to make any sweetspot posts with my pictures but more trying to show how it actually looks like during gameplay. But will try and see if I can get some new good shots with my subtle DoF effect :)

Jawz for Gameplay yeah especially when you think about VR (Oculus) some of my own Gameplay Experience tests trying to get Dof a sane and Immersion highering Experience somehow (never released)

though 1 frame alone can hardly show this and currently when you play it with Oculus you most probably would puke out your whole Meal very fast, latency is also so key for this to work efficiently ;)
Though i hardly ever release such stuff it's work i do when i get bored with my main ideas :)

Re: TES Skyrim

In a fast paced action scene like that which occur quite often I would probably end up a little bit sick having the DoF act in like that. As I said it's mostly for artistic and stylish pictures and videos not something I would want during gameplay.

I think I have found my DoF to use for future artistic photos in Skyrim :) I'm using Matso's 2.0.6 here, weird thing was I thought I had Boris original file, have no idea where this fx file came from :P

Anyway after spent some time with the setting these are the results, nothing fancy about these pictures they are just to show off the DoF settings.

Some early tweaks here

The settings I settled for, for now atleast I'm going to test out some more enbeffectprepass files as I can't remember how they all worked or behaved in game. It's been awhile since I last used DoF.

Definitely looks nice and remembers me to also take a look @ the Dof changes :)
There seems to be some Bug with your Skybox or is that caused by the camera distortion :) ?

Btw i like this lizzard type character with it's natural organic skin especially if you look into the new Spiderman movie you can make some nice Render comparisons with their CGI shoots on the Material Rendering part ;)

Re: TES Skyrim

Thanks and glad it gave you some sort of inspiration if you want to change your settings after viewing mine :)

Yeah it happens from time to time, 3 times I think over the last year or so :P. Sometimes when you force a weather you can get some disappearing and "blocky" clouds at the horizon and that is similar to that but these stick and affect the cloud layers in general. Don't know the actual cause for it but I have experienced it in vanilla weathers as well.

EDIT;

Yeah I had a character creation marathon more or less when going back and forth with CoT, EWE and some other lighting mod I think and that was about the same time Zyrusticae mentioned in a comment that he was the only one exclusively playing a Argonian, so I thought what the hell why not an Argonian this time around :lol:

He turned out pretty good with just vanilla features except for the body being Better Males with "underwear", if you can call that poorly texture layer underwear :roll:
