To tell the truth... I don't really like it. I turned off the Bloom, and the shadows are reallly strong!

My enb has becomed a mess. Seems like no matter what I do, I just makes it worse than it already is. Can't seem to get it back on track. Can't get bloom radius to work, and skylight seem to overwrite ambient light. can't turn up bloom as it will make distant mountains white.. It's basicaly just a big mess..

I am really considering grapping one of you guys' enbs and work from that, to see it THAT get's me results I'm so desperately after. I'm considering trying to use "the wilds enb" or "vibrant enb" cause they look like they are closest to my goal. What is your sight on this matter? Will I end up in the wall-of-shame if I use someone elses enb config as a base?

It really bugs me that I just can't get this right. I was really close with my ENB BETA 4 I think, but that had alot of problems with dark water and other dark particles, and white mountains for that matter.. And after switching to 0.113 and after that to 0.114 it has just went down hill from there on out.

I consider myself defeated :D

I really admit, that I admire all of you guys in here, and the work you are putting into this. I know how dificult it is, and how long time it takes. And some of you guy are creating MAGIC! Please keep doing this, it's a great inspiration to me!!

Oh man, I couldn't tell you how many times I broke my configs !.... :shock: Countless.
Each time I'm involving in something different, it's the same.... ;)

Did u download the last "Fixed" bloom code by Matso ?
Are u trying crazy bloom things ?

Hey, feel free to take any of my files u want, no "shame" @all about that.
All I'm doing is tweaking parts of existing configs here and there as well.
We're here to share !

Oyama: Wow! My mood just went from bad to VERY exited! I loaded up your enb well, actually only those 5-6 important files, I don't want all the extras :D I must say, from the get go your ENB is very impressive. Ofcourse started fooling around with the config. And it turns out that the bloom radius works, or at least, thing is happening when I adjust that setting. I also got the skylight to work, and for some reason it is not fucking with the ambient light the same way as before. And the GI look that I could achive was STUNNING!

I changed the post process to 2 (don't know if that turns the matso bloom useless?), and has supriced that it was divided into day and night. Long story short, whithin about 30mins I had achived a look that is much closer to what I want, and couldn't get with my old, and aparently broken config.. Oyama, you saved my day with you awesome setup, and I can't wait till I get more time with this!!

Again, I have only tweaked on sunny day in riverwood, so with all the changes I did, I suspect that they nights and so on, will need alot of work. But for now, sunny days looks great, with a awesome GI effect, thanks.. Can't show any images yet,.. But I will be back :)

Btw. Would you be kind and tell me what the difference is between you two configs? What's the goal for the new one?? I used your vibrant config

Ah yes.... THAT PP2 is special.... first modified by Opethfeldt, then Confidence-man, then artem1s, then Midhras, then bronze316, then I..... :) looooooong story....
Yep, the bloom radii ARE working, it's the last Matso's version, so it works.

Glad I could help u with those small things.... hope u'll reach the look u want to achieve.

There is a way to add a subtle distant DoF effect if you are using matsos ddof code.
Look for this line:

// Depth of field parameters
float fFocusBias = 0.0xxx;

and replace the 0.0xxx with a higher value. For example I'm using 0.0575.
But keep in mind, it will be a very subtle effect.
