In the skyrimprefs.ini you must have this

sD3DDevice="ENB"

This is found under display.

Another thing to check for is if you have installed/updated a mod from Nexus Mod Manager recently that is requiring the Dawnguard expansion pack. The best way to trouble shoot this is to uninstall any recently installed mods, and then try to start up skyrim.

Good luck.

I think MetallicAcid has a good hunch, the update has probably messed up the ini files. Perhaps you could try removing SkyrimPrefs.ini, Skyrim.ini and RendererInfo.txt and letting the game create new ones by starting the launcher.

Thanks, that's quite a compliment! I actually did try to work with only a slight tinting for awhile, but since I admittedly like colour I flip-flopped in order to try to convey more atmosphere and mood. I also found that some of the textures look pretty inconsistent with no tinting to 'tie' them together. Even so, the tinting is pretty difficult to control since there are so many different variables in the equation and there's always a risk of overdoing it.

I think your own work already looks very impressive - especially the last three screens have very nice colour and lighting into them, the look is certainly subtler and more realistic than mine but still not dull. Very nice, just be sure not to give up :D

Nice to see you back with new screens!

I, too, would like to point out that those latest screenshots from Mindflux are quite possibly the most realistic realtime graphics I've ever seen. The same goes for Unreal's pics (youtube video encoding does them no good, though, as all the details are lost)

Welcome, and nice shots Mani :) Well after another reinstall, I think I finally have a nice build going on that isn't crashing on me every 5 minutes. I have almost 100 mods going and it's actually pretty awesomely balanced with Monster Mod, Monster Wars, and ASIS as a base.

So here is my new char. They said he was too scrawny, too Irish to be the Dragonborn but Mel here will prove them all wrong..

So been working on a new ENB, heres some SS; but have the dreaded 'White Mountains' issue (have day bloom at 1.65); lowering bloom and compensating with direct lighting and indirect lighting does not give me the desired effect.... distant stuff dosn't look that great... need help!! Although its only one or two weathers that have the issue; I'd rather have a perfect ENB :roll:

So I've been fiddling around with the actual ENB files (not just the customizer), and I've actually gotten somewhere!But I still can't get the blue-ish lighting.
