Good to see you with us, dpeasant. As always, gorgeous screens.

Damn, what a waste. I spent much time to get the direct sunlight looking good with the stupid vanilla glare disabled, but no go - the sun just looks like poo on a cloudless sky no matter what I do. I guess I have experiment more with the sun texture itself. I also finally gave in and decided to lose most of the different kinds of bloom as they're impossible to control in the varying weather conditions without making the whole climate terribly inconsistent. Well, at least the LOD stuff looks somewhat decent, I think.

Yes, the volumetric fog is sadly gray...

shaping up pretty nicely in my opinion. I like the mood you're going for. Don't let some f* HDD take you down, keep it up lad!

dpeasant
what a tease! If you pull that off, it'll will be one of the most memorable additions to ENB for sure.

Joey: thanks for the feedback. Much appriciated. I do agree about all your point. If I make sky brighter, then it will loose the cool blue color, which I like very much. Might give it a try anyways. Speaking og lensflares and specularity. Well the high specularity is because I wanted lensflare to go off from weapons. But it makes everything else emit too much lensflare. Even things like flowers and rocks are emitting more lensflare than metal weapons, which makes no sense at all.. I will properbly turn the flares down again, as my experiment has failed :-(

Same here. Prob had it for almost 2 years as well. I had some issues with my mobo bios (Asus P67) But after the last two updates all issues with solid state devices have cleared up. Honestly, I blame mobo manufacturers support for solid state devices. SSD tech is solid in my opinion.

EDIT:

@Lauren - Love your scenic shots. Your lighting and foliage/trees look amazing. Could you please tell me what grass/trees mods and enb preset you are using?

@Metaliacid - Really really love your shots! Especially interested in your male skin textures. Could you please share which mod they are from?

Thanks all

I use Forested Skyrim (for Whiterun Hold where those two were taken) as well as Lush Trees, and SkyRealism Grass

as for the ENB it's almost exactly Opethfeldt's

SkyRealism Grass: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25370
Forested Skyrim: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/22733
Lush Trees: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3385
and Opeth's ENB: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18941

Also like, forever ago I downloaded the Flora Overhaul so there's that as well:
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/141

I generally run at around 45-50fps outside with all of this, and 35ish in The Rift because holy shit is that place green

Mindflux: First off, sorry for your loss :( Looks great still but sucks you lost all that work.
Evok99: I like the extra color you added (sorry not responded sooner but I've been busy--Holiday season and everything)
DPeasant: Nice to see some new shots ;)

Love all the enbs and shots from everyone!

On a happy note, I found out what was causing my issues with dragon fire (when dead), mist, fog, etc ;) Had an issue with my enbeffect settings and had to do some serious testing to figure out a new balance for it--so I'm in process of reworking just about everything :( However... I now have a stable base and am back on track and it looks a whole lot better but until I get days finalized (basically have bloom/ambient/SL 'set' and direct is 'close' but I need to test bit more for snow/fog some more) I won't know how much I'll need to change for nights and interiors (I'm assuming quite a bit). Main issue I have with day, so far, is trying to keep as strong of lighting as possible without driving myself nuts with intensity/scale issues--its most noticable here on thatched roofs and cart's cloth cover... I'm picky and just nothing I can do about it though without weakening overall lights or overbrightening fog/overcast weathers...).
